After buying a handful of the cheap, generic pull back bars that bend and become useless after just a job or two I decided to purchase this pull back bar… man what a great investment… This tool’s 22” length and 4.4 lbs weight make it a beast in the best possible way. It has made installing different types of flooring a breeze. Everything from LvP to Laminate to Hardwood… especially with those hard to reach places such as in front of cabinet toe kicks or when u have drywall that wants to bust through the second u apply the slightest amount of pressure with a pry bar…It’s pretty impressive how sturdy and beefy this pullback/pry bar combo tool is. No chance of rendering it useless after a few good whacks with a hammer like u tend to do with the other poorly designed cheaper ones … Instead of struggling with some end rows of flooring and spending time re bending the pullback bar back in shape after every hammer hit, Im able to complete jobs quicker, more efficiently and with much less cussing under my breathe... The bar was heavy duty and has a nice soft slider attached to the bottom. I use it with a cut off piece of vinyl when installing vinyl flooring and it works great. Way better than those crappy cheap bars u get at Lowe's that bend out of shape, after you hit it a few times. Be careful not to drop it on your new floor tho! Accidentally did and had to take out 5 rows to replace a piece. The edge is sharp and put a huge gash in one of the pieces.

The length gives you more room to swing your hammer without hitting the wall. Loses one star because the white cap is loose and broke on the first swing. Without the cap the striker would eventually destroy your hammer head because of the sharp edges. Still better than the other options out there.

Looks good an worked well until it broke. The welds did not hold. There was no impact cover on the anvil side. That being said it worked great. Before an after I welded it back to gather. I have emailed the company two weeks ago. A still waiting for a reply.

Very well made and versatile. Having the hammer point away from the wall is invaluable. The pry bar end has many uses. As a contractor, I've used the cheap big box store pull bars and they are much more difficult to use and, more likely to damage the floor being installed. There is a big difference between price and value. This pull bar may be pricey but, it is superb value, particulalry if you've got a large area to install or, you anticipate doing flooring installs in the future. Always buy the best equipment that you can afford. It always works out cheaper in the long run!

I fell in love with it the moment it arrived. Sturdy, well built, solid welds. Once I began working on the flooring installation this tool made short work of the edges of the room and when my floor became misaligned the fulcrum I was able to create by wedging this against the wall moved my floor into place in seconds!I ended up having to use the mallet a number of times to align planks or set them (or slide them under closet boards or other alignments) this Pull bar made it so, so easy to make the room look professionally done. I saved a ton of time, effort, and that equals $$.If you're going to do it yourself, this is the tool is going to make you happy the first time you have to use it.Highly Recommend.
