I just bought this lemon/lime squeezer. All my life I have been squeezing limes and lemons by hand. This gets more juice out without a mess and I use less fruit to get the amount I need for recipes. Very satisfied.

Our old squeezer was losing it's coating so we finally replaced it. This thing works perfectly and we appreciate it is not made of plastic and feels like it will last.

I was tired of squeezing lemons by hand and making a mess. I really enjoy this lemon squeezer, it works very well and is attractive. It's easy to use and feels fairly durable, but the hinge has a little bit of play in it, which makes me wonder how long it will last.I think these are made from cast metal (like cast iron), which can shatter if you drop it. I've seen some photos of other buyers who had the handles break off. I don't think that would happen with normal use, but if you drop it on a hard floor, I can see how it could fracture and weaken the handle.For the price, this is a great buy. I've put some very large lemons in it that required a lot of pressure, and didn't have any issues. And it's so inexpensive, if it breaks, it's not a big deal. Plus there doesn't appear to be any plastic in the construction, it's all metal, which is a plus.

This is the second one I purchased (to give as a gift). It's made well, and looks as though it will hold up to frequent use. Works really well. And you can't beat the price!

El producto es de buen tamaño, cabe perfectamente un limón, hasta una naranja. El producto no parece que sea de acero inoxidable, se siente muy frágil y el aspecto no parece de buena calidad.

Works well. It is quite large, the opening to place the fruit is 3and5/16in, ( tree an five sixteens of an inch), enough for the biggest lemon, and even many average oranges. I noticed there I s a little bit of space between the two halfs when they close. But when I squeezed a thick skin lemon, even the skin was squeezed. Imagine a thin skin lemon can be placed on its side, so there will be two walls, to make for a thicker skin. Anyway, I don't see it as a problem. The handles seem solid metal, but they are not. They will bend if abused (well, over stressed), which can be done by putting a thick skinned lemon on its side, so there is two thick walls between the sqeezers, and putting a good amount of strength into it. But there I s no reason for such abuse. Would it be nice to have a stronger tool - yes. Is it available in similar form factor - no, ( I have not found one ). Some p we ogle are concerned about water getting into the top handle. Well, dry it open, so water flowers out, and also, it is stainless. Anyway, I am quite happy with this tool.

Purchased: October 20, 2015Price: $7.49 (free shipping)Seller: New Star Foodservice Inci don't really know how this compares to other citrus squeezers because this is the first one i've ever used. i've only used the reamer type juicers previously, but i can say that i do love this thing!i used it for the first time a few days ago when i was making some hummus. It was so much easier, faster, and neater than using the reamer. Plenty of juice was extracted, and i didn't have to worry about seeds or pulp mixing in with the juice. Nor did i have to wait while the juice filters past and drains like with the reamer/juicer.The lemons i used were very small so i probably would have had a better result had i used a lime squeezer or had larger lemons. My lemons were a little old with peels that were hard and dry but still had plenty of juice in them, and once i cut them in half this squeezer had no problem mashing them down to get most of the juice out. Like i said, had i used larger lemons i feel confident that i would have been able to extract all of the juice. As a matter of fact, i have some smaller oranges that i'm going to use this squeezer on tomorrow. i think it will work perfectly.
