Fit tight but installs easy. Doesn’t obscure controls. Overall works as advertised. No ugly logos or weird leather inlays. Simple and functional.

it seems to be a cheap aluminum alloy, but good enough for this purpose, has epoxy underneath (to prevent electrical contact, I assume), doesn't affect how I adjust the shutter from the top, and only slightly affects how I adjust that dial from the back. It's amazing how much easier this makes it to grip the Fuji X-E1. All 6 of the Fuji bodies I've tried have had horrible ergonomics [although they look amazing and thus inspire you to photograph], and this simple item makes the grip feel twice as thick even though it only adds a few millimeters to the rear. Should have been included with the camera! Silver is close to the silver color of the X-E1. The only downside is that you have to take it off to put the flash on, but if they added a 5mm(?) riser of another flash mount, then it would snag, and not look slim anymore... anyways, this is what Fuji does with their cameras: include a basic metal hotshoe cover with no flash functionality.

This is a really nice thumb grip for the price. The hot shoe portion inserts with tension and doesn't require a set screw. Also the length is nearly perfect. Overall it has a quality feel about it. Unfortunately it blocks some of the controls on my X100F. Not recommended for that model. Boo hoo for me.

Slight color difference from the camera (I'm using it on an X-E2), but it works great. It's positioned nicely to allow use of all controls, even though it's not specifically designed for the X-E2. Aluminum construction means it's nice and solid. It doesn't deflect like the plastic thumb grips apparently do.

Does not fit FujiFilm X100. Blocks thumb dial and is frustratingly hard to remove. I am returning and will find another option.

The new Fujifilm mirrorless cameras are great; great sensors, great lenses, great way to get weaned from overweight DSLR's. Designs, however, leave something to be desired. To wit: the grip on the new X-E2. The body, because of its compact size, is too easy to mishandle. I found my thumb constantly hitting the set wheel which changes the view from 100 to 200 per cent. The addition of the Thumbs Up grip makes that much easier to deal with. My thumb rests easily and comfortably on the thumb grip and doesn't land on the set wheel. It's a good accessory that, I feel, should have been incorporated into the design of the camera.Down side? It fits into the hot shoe on the top of the camera and doesn't allow the shoe to be used with the grip in place.

This grip works great for the X-E1 and X-E2.But it does not fit the X-M1 and X-A1.When you place this on the X-M1/X-A1, it won't completely go onto the hot shoe because the curve of the flash button blocks it. So it goes like 3/4ths of the way on the hot shoe.Hope this helps out other customers! I was pretty bummed out about this ):

Very nice - and for the price, unbeatable.Sits nice and snug on my new Fuji X-E2 and is both cool to look at and very functional. I was initially concerned that it would be in the way of the command wheel or other buttons, but no... I'm very satisfied.I was tempted to take away a star for the long delivery time (more than two weeks, since this shipped from China) but for the price, this exceeded my expectations.
