Sleeves worked great for my application (adapting weight posts on Fitness Reality lat pull assembly to 2" diameter). Good fit and finish. Clamps are a bonus, but I'm not expecting them to last based on past experience with similar clamps (typically break within a year or two even with light to moderate home use).

The material is solid and it fit my curl bar perfectly. The clamps are really tight once clamped down. I was worried they would be cheap. I have a set of clamps on my dumbells that are dangerous and slip off so I wondered how these would do. This is the only item I found for curl bars that have an approx 8" area for the plates and also comes with the clamps. Highly recommend. Now I can use my olympic weights. Get em.

Received pretty much what I expected, what was listed as included in the product listing. I assumed the collars would fit the sleeves properly, but was disappointed that the collar on one side could be moved fairly easily when closed. The collars are not adjustable for tightness and so I initiated a return. Amazon sent the new order before the old one needed to be sent back, which turned out to be a very good thing. Same problem with the new shipment on one of the collar/sleeves. So between two different orders, I was able to get a combination that worked. Unless this is just an anomaly, if I had to do it over again, I'd likely just order a similar item somewhere else even if a few dollars more. I could do without the trial and error of combining parts from two orders to come up with something that works. The plastic collars are a good idea that looks more sturdy, but in truth the spring-type clips would likely do just as well or better without the variation and lack of adjustabiliity.

Does exactly what I wanted - converted a standard 1" (25mm) diameter triceps bar into an Olympic triceps bar so I could use Olympic weights with it, without having to buy an Olympic EZ bar. The quick release collars lock everything down well.

Olympic Adapter Sleeve is an excellent product for those who want to expand their weightlifting options. The sleeves easily convert standard 1" weight plate posts to 2" Olympic weight plate posts, allowing you to use Olympic-sized plates with a standard barbell. The product also comes with two durable barbell clamps that keep the plates securely in place during workouts. The removable end cap is a great feature that makes it easy to slide the adapter on and off your barbell. The only downside is that the clamps are made of plastic, which may not be as sturdy as metal clamps. Overall, the 2PCS Olympic Adapter Sleeve is a great value for anyone who wants to increase their lifting potential, and we rate it 4 out of 5 stars.

These barbell sleeves were the perfect fit for an old curl bar I had. I was thinking of tossing out the bar since all my plates are 2”. I decided to try these out and they worked great. Easy to install and the included clamps are good quality and nice and snug. Good value.

To tighten the adapter tight enough to hold the bar it disfigures the shape making it problematic getting plates on and off

I needed a 2" bar to use my landmine adapter, but didn't want to shell out for a bar - not to mention the weights - just to use it; I got this set instead, though I think I may be upgrading to an all metal one in the future...As most other reviews have mentioned, these are plastic; I'd add they seem partially hollow as well, but thick enough to handle plates as long as they aren't dropped a ton. The clips are much the same, but with a rubberized lining to prevent slipping. The set screws going into that plastic may strip easily if over tightened, so I'd say this is the biggest point of failure.The price is alright for everything included, especially compared with the cost of the aforementioned bar and weights if you have a collection of 1" equipment; in my case, it's going to stay in the same place, and doesn't need to grip the bar - so having two is just a bonus!
