The Mercedes dealer sucks… I went online googled it I got a sensor and I got this part mechanic put both of them in this fits on a 2018 e300 4matic sedan. Dealer wanted me to put in a new turbo.lolThank you Amazon no idea how long this is gonna last but I think I saved $4000. Performance on the car feels like it has a turbo again score!

Pulled a P0299 code, was advised by dealer it probably would need to have the turbo replaced $$$. Read some where to test the vacuum actuator, using a cheap Harbor Freight vacuum pump, I found it would not hold vacuum. This actuator fit my 2017 W213 E300 perfectly. This item’s description mentions the M274 engine.Replacement is pretty starlight forward, After removing air filter box you’ll find a heat shield held by 2 bolts and a nut, remove shield and and actuator will be visible to replace. The hardest part was removing the c clip holding the actuator’s rod to the turbo. I ended up drilling it out. Restored performance, saved $$$$.

There are only 2 types of actuators for M274 engine with the only difference - the rod length 173 mm and 196 mm. The item was advertised as 173 mm which is not the case. I've received 196 mm rod which did not fit. Since it takes a few weeks to get the new one I had to bring it to the mechanical shop, cut extra length, and weld it back together. After modification only, I could fit it into my car. This activity could have been avoided if the seller correctly described the item online.
