The wires are about 6inc too short. Have a good wiring kit if you buy this item and plenty of time. But it will work if you won't to extend all the wiring. Bought for a s10 2000 std truck

Had mine installed by my mechanic, could have done it myself but due to back problems was unable to lay on my back on the floorboard of my vehicle to hook up the wiring.

I ordered this NewYall Turn Signal Console Multi Function Switch with Cruise Control for my 2003 Chevy S10 because the brake lights were not working. The top, or third brake light did work, Just not the brake lights on each side. This type of failure is usually caused by the multi function switch. After checking fuses, bulbs, and grounds I decided it was likely the switch. The switch came quickly and packed well. It was also priced well against the offerings of after market switches at the auto parts stores. Upon initial inspection it seemed to be well made and the wiring and connections were a match for the original switch.Installation took me about an hour and a half. The switch fit just like the original one, and all the connections were correct for the application. The switch feels and works just like the original one did for twenty years, and now my brake lights work! I feel good about the product and hope it last as long as the original. I had watched a YouTube video which was very helpful. I am pretty handy around cars and trucks, but not a professional. I have done most of my own maintenance and a lot of upgrades to my own vehicles for many years. You can save a lot of money by doing this yourself. I would say this installation is not for the timid, but not really difficult if you are comfortable with working with wiring and such. If your not comfortable with wiring and switches you may find this to be a complicated and difficult taskYou have to take off the bezel driver side that goes around the speedometer and gauges. The airbag disable switch and headlight switch are also attached to the bezel and the wiring will need to be disconnected. If your truck may have other options that will have wiring that needs connected. Then the lower panels on the driver sided need to come down. The shrouding on the steering column has to be removed. The multi function switch has four different connections that need to be addressed. If you are not careful you could damage other components while attempting this repair/replacement. If you have not done this before try to find a video that shows the process for your vehicle. If you feel comfortable you can save your self some money. If your not I wouldn't risk it.
