It fits perfectly, easy to get the 2230 NVMe ssd and install. But unfortunately Microsoft has put a block on the Xbox so it’s not recognised and you be able to use it. Sucks the big one, more reason to not use Microsoft products anymore. You have to buy official products at exorbitant prices.

Apparently MS blocked these because even with a ssd from a broken series x in the adapter it does not read it so save your money.

I formatted (using Xbox) a M.2 and put card in this. The Xbox wont recognize drive using this device. I tried different formats but it came down to this adapter is no good.

SSD drive must be chosen properly for Xbox. Wrong brand will not work. Too expensive for me to try multiple options in attempt to find one that works. Online research was not helpful. Seagate may be only SSD which works; others tested did not. Presentation of item not up front about this; but technically works.

I used the exact Western Digital 2230 NVME they say must be used. I get the error message shown in the headline. This NVME is only available in 512MB and 1TB - no 2TB. Which is irrelevant now since the adapter doesn't work anyway.

I hate that MS went with proprietary storage for the Series X, I refuse to buy the forced, overpriced option. This worked perfectly, just read the directions closely, you have to buy the exact drive model listed and format it properly. I have been playing Valhalla off it for a few days now, no issues and no apparent performance difference from the internal storage.

Ottimo ma difficile da reperire un Asd compatibile a buon prezzo se si vuole su Xbox costa meno la memoria originale a conti fatti non vale la pena
