Ok so you can add NVME storage to a pc without a port on the motherboard but hrom what I can figure out you can't used it to boot windows so a bit disappointing but it dose work to extend your storage.

De adapter werkt probleemloos en doet wat het moet doen, helaas zit er een behoorlijk felle led op die aangeeft wanneer de SSD in gebruik is en deze verlicht de binnenkant van de pc.Geen probleem wanneer je een dichte kast hebt of er niet naar kijkt, maar voor de meeste mensen zal dit toch een zeer irritante afleiding zijn.Ik heb het met zwarte verf moeten bedekken.

Con questo adattatore ho potuto aggiungere un ssd m2 key al mio pc. Le velocità raggiunte sono circa 3 volte piu veloce rispetto ad un ssd montato su bus sata. Articolo semplice ma funzionale.

The product does what it should, it adapts m.2 with the pcie protocol to the physical pcie slot. I can't speek for pcie versions above 3. But since the traces look clean and they ar short it should probably work for pcie4.0.You can easily break of the parts you don't need if they interfere with slot insertion.Whats also nice is that the adapter is small in therms of hight it usually does not stick out further that regular hight memory. Which is nice when you are space constraint.
