Insure that you need this type of m.2 before ordering. This is not the standard m.2 found on most ATX motherboards for storage.

I was using this to install a NGFF WIFI module. I was afraid it was cause the connection to be slower. but getting full speed.

[Update, 9/16/2020]Ordered a replacement from Amazon and this one has the threads tapped. Installed and works fine. Still taking off a star since I have to make an unnecessary trip to UPS to return the old one...[Original Review, 9/15/2020]Item looks like it might have worked, but mine arrived with the center peg untapped and unthreaded. Forcing in screw just got it stuck (pictured). Lastly, item came with damaged packaging, looked used, and was missing a screw (it only came with two). Overall, very disappointed. Returning for a replacement.

Tried this in my old DELL E6210 with both Intel Wireless-Ac 9260 and Intel Wireless-AX200Worked without any issuesRemember to get an antenna adapter (IPEX 4 to IPEX 1) since the M.2 WIFI Cards have smaller connectors

Bought this to perform a WLAN conversion from MPCIE to M.2 on an old Asus G75VX laptop and add an Intel AX200 Wifi card.No issues recognizing the card.Aside from the slight modification I needed to do to make it fit. A connector was in the way due to the length of the adapter.It was plug and play.1st boot the WLAN card was recognized right away.
