I bought these mainly for work. I have one gentleman who has broken English and from Cuba. He has been teaching himself. I talk fast so he has hard time understanding me. These worked great I have one he has other and we can have an awesome conversation. They worked so well that one of the girls is teamed with a girl also from Cuba but speaks no English let them try the headset and they loved it will be getting them a set also. Was very hesitate about getting these what you advertise is exactly what I received

All I can honestly tell you is... the device charged. I downloaded the app... which was sketchy at best. My biggest issues were with the APP that was required to download and use the earphones.There were almost all negative reviews; however, I was unable to agree to the terms and privacy policy. The biggest issues were 1. they offered no way to delete data and 2. (Along with the bad usage reviews) the quality was substandard (3.3 avg) but they were clear that they made no promises or commitments to kerp the app updated or usable. In fact, they stated that they had the right to discontinue the app, it's usage, and your usage of the earphones, WITHOUT NOTICE, or obligation to notify you of the discontinuation or that they had no plans to update it to meet your translation needs. That they were not responsible to update the languages or usage needs to your needs.. Their last update was 7/16/2024. Considering these issues, and the fact that there were several people that stated they had issues accessing the translations, that the earphones/app did not translate fast enough, and that they required constant fees/subscriptions required to access basic translation.... my opinion is that... DON'T WASTE YOUR TIIME AND MONEY. DON'T PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM VTECH OR RELATED COMPANIES.DONT DOWNLOAD OR AGREE TO THEIR SHADY PRACTICES. TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF AND PURCHASE SOMETHING ELSE. EVEN IF YOU HAVE TO SPEND A LITTLE BIT MORE $$$. IT WILL BE WORTH IT IN THE LONG RUN.

I tried to translate English to French and 50% of the time it translated into Chinese. I guess it has a mind of its own . Needless to say I returned it.

These earphones are great, sound quality is very good, working distance is 10m, light weight, 150 different languages translations. Very compact, easy to carry when traveling. There are several modes, for example other person can wear second earpiece and have translation in different language then your earpiece. You will need an app for the earphones. Chearging time 1.5 hours. The translation is accurate!

So far I've used it to translate Spanish to English as well as give me the proper way to respond in Spanish. I have not had to interact with anyone speaking Chinese but I did watch a local news station that was in Chinese and the AI translated in English what they were saying. It has so many different languages, I can't wait to use it in a live and in person situation.

I had some difficulty setting this up (I’m not very experienced with electronic). I asked someone for help and they had no problem. It’s amazing how it translates. These will be very helpful in many situations.
