I have two of these, one for each gravel bike. They are very durable, easy to mount on handlebars and have lasted for several thousand miles. Plus, my lights easily slide off and on for recharging.

I have bought these before, this one in the picture, the Clampmount, shows a thumb knob to tighten onto handle bars, but the one I received had a rubber tab to pull tight. Inaccurate photo!

Haven't been able to mount this to my fancy fat handlebars, but it fits great on the normal and vintage bikes. I do love the NR brand and was glad to be able to reunite an orphan mako light with the base.

This is a great and quality built light mount. I have broken two in the past but due to user error. And in once hard fall the light mounting brackets broke but the handle bar bracket stayed intact.

Update 8/28/2018: I bought a second one of these mounts a few days later (from the same supplier) and this one fits larger diameter handlebars - up to 35mm. The Amazon photo shows the smaller size and it's not clear that you can specify which size you want. If you want a specific size you may need to contact the supplier.Original review: The STRAP mount that comes with the Lumina 750 will not hold the light in place. Great light, poor mount. I can't understand why NiteRider continues to sell the 750 with the ineffective strap mount after all the complaints. This CLAMP mount holds the 750 steady. Unfortunately you have to buy it as a separate item although it's not expensive. Mounting on larger diameter handlebars might take a small modification. I had to cut the rubber mounting gasket in half (one snip with scissors) to get the clamp to close. Now it fits perfectly and works like a champ.

It's exactly like the one that came with my Lumina 700, so it's nice to have on one of my other bikes for ease of switching it over. Solid.

I purchased this mount so that I could switch my Lumina 700 easily from my mountain bike to my road bike, having one on each bike. It is identical to what comes with the original light. It is a solid, secure mount which has held up just fine now over 500 miles of road riding and 200 miles of mountain bike riding. Quality is good, and it holds the light in place. Another little known feature is that you can turn the light side to side if you wish. I assume this is to compensate for an offset mounting position. Nice piece, just like the light it came with.

I have a NiteRider light and the handlebar mount it came with always left me wondering if it was going to fall off. Or it would constantly tip downwards bit by bit with every bump I hit. I decided to see if I could find a more secure way to keep my light on my handlebar and after a bit of searching I found this. So far it seems to work pretty well. There was a period of time right after buying it that I thought for sure that it was not going to work. The rubber gasket that it comes with is very thick, and lets the mount clamp down very securely onto smaller sized handlebars very effectively. However, the gasket is way too thick to use with oversized handlebars, which is what I have right now. I tried using the gasket off of the original mount, but even that was slightly too thick. Finally one day I scrapped the gasket idea altogether and simply clamped this thing down with no gasket. Voila! It worked. I had to snug it down pretty tightly to keep it from slipping/tipping with the light on. But, I was able to find a tension that worked well enough without making me think I was going to compromise my handlebar. So far it has held up admirably and kept my light secure without tipping.I would give it five starts but for that simple fact that I had to completely go without the gasket on oversized handlebars. Using a gasket would make me feel better about the amount of friction keeping it in place, and also prevent it from scratching the finish of my handlebars. As it is it works well, and fits, if just only.

The problem with NiteRider lights was the mount; this new mount solves the problem. If you have a new NiteRider light, you probably have this mount already and are wondering "what problem?" Until recently, NiteRider lights generally came with a mount that could come undone (I used a zip tie to keep that from happening) and would not hold tight enough to stay in position. This mount holds securely and is easy to use. My only complaint is that the included rubber spacer is too thick to work with over-sized handlebars (most new moderate to high quality handlebars are OS) and it doesn't grip tight without some rubber between the mount and the bar. The solution is to take an old inner tube, cut a small piece to fit between the bar and the mount, then mount it and forget it. Problem solved.
