The NM-M1-MP83 is an enthusiast-grade, multi-socket SecuFirm2+ mounting-kit that represents an ideal upgrade for users who want to migrate their Noctua CPU coolers to the new, Torx based SecuFirm2+ standard or to the latest sockets that their cooler did not yet support at the time of purchase. Compatible with a wide range of Noctua CPU coolers with 83mm mounting pitch since 2005 (see detailed compatibility information) and supporting all the latest desktop platforms from AMD (AM5 & AM4) and Intel (LGA1851, LGA1700, LGA1200, LGA115x), the NM-M1-MP83 provides an excellent, future-proof basis for air-cooled premium builds. On AM5, the offset mounting option can significantly improve performance with typical reductions in CPU temperatures of 1-3°C. Like all SecuFirm2 mountings, it combines outstanding reliability, optimal contact pressure and easy, straightforward installation. At the same time, following the new SecuFirm2+ standard, it uses Torx T20 instead of Phillips head screws for even better handling and resistance to wear. With the included magnetic tip NM-SD1 Torx T20 screwdriver, it is perfect for power users who frequently change their setups and demand the new gold standard in convenience and durability under heavy use.
SecuFirm2+ standard with Torx
The new SecuFirm2+ standard uses Torx T20 instead of Phillips head screws. The reduced cam-out of the Torx drive makes it easier to operate, especially in space restricted environments such as pre-assembled PC systems. At the same time, there is less wear on the screw heads, which makes the plus version even more durable and perfect for power users.
For Noctua coolers with 83mm mounting pitch
The NM-M1-MP83 kit is compatible with a wide range of Noctua CPU coolers that use 83mm mounting pitch, whereas heatsinks with 78mm mounting pitch must use the MP78 version. Please refer to our detailed compatibility information to check which kit is right for your cooler.
Multi-socket support
The NM-M1 sets are Noctua’s most comprehensive multi-socket mounting-kits today: Supporting AMD AM5 and AM4 as well as Intel LGA1851, LGA1700, LGA1200, LGA1151, LGA1150, LGA1155 and LGA1156, it’s the ultimate kit for a wide range of upgrading or switching scenarios.
Offset mounting option for AMD AM5
The NM-M1 includes Noctua’s offset mounting bars for AM5 that make it possible to install the cooler shifted towards the south side of the socket by 7mm, thereby achieving better contact pressure right above the Core Complex Die(s). This improved contact exactly at the processor’s hotspot can significantly reduce CPU temperatures with typical improvements in the range of 1-3°C.
NM-SD1 magnetic tip screwdriver
The NM-M1 sets include Noctua’s NM-SD1 Torx T20 head screwdriver that is ideal for all the screws of the kit. Thanks to its magnetic tip and the 150mm long shaft, even remote screws in tightly packed environments such as ITX or HTPC builds are easy to handle without dropping.

I have an LGA1200 socket but the way this mounts blocks the CPU from touching the cooler it is mounted on so it is useless. Likely a good product but only if it actually works.

il kit serve per avere le viti torx ed il cacciavite torx. Non è detto che nel kit ci siano anche le staffe che sono necessarie alla stostituzione ma se uno deve solo prendere le viti e staffe torx ed il cacciavite va benissimo.SE invece uno lo vuole usare come kit completo di sostituzione allora va scelto il modello esatto in base al socket

Produkten i sig är toppen.Dock är Amazons ”packning” under all kritik.Fick produkten skickad i produktkartongen och tejpning, så när jag hämta ut ordern hos mitt ombud var förpackningen halvt öppen och jag kunde skaka ur innehållet….

I used a back plate , lga 1700, from a deep cool aio, i used on an amd chip, to mount an lga 1151 ek aio to an lga 1700 socket over an i7 14700k. Didn't need to but I used the hex heads from this to tighten it down. Spare parts. Idles around ~30°ish. Thanks
