FAQs

How much weight can the brackets hold?

The weight limit is mostly contingent upon how secure your existing headrail is installed. Typically blinds are mounted to wall studs and can hold a good amount of weight. Please do not use our brackets if your headrail is loose or damaged.

What curtain styles should I use?

We recommend using grommet (eyelet) or tab top curtains with our NoNo Brackets. These styles will ensure the curtains will cover the width of the blind head rail/track.

How many brackets will my window require?

Use 2 brackets for windows less than 5 feet (60 inches) wide. Use. 3 brackets for sliding doors or windows greater than 5 feet (60 inches).

Installation Instructions - Outside Mount

Important: Ensure your existing blind headrail is securely fastened to the wall. Do not install if your headrail is loose or damaged in anyway.

Installation Instructions - Inside Mount (Standard, XL, Mini)

4. Adjust the center screw as necessary to ensure a tight fit to the headrail.

5. Hang curtain rod and curtains as normal.

After making numerous holes in the walls, and getting frustrated we found these. Wish we had found them sooner is all! They are just what we needed for our apartment. We were able to hang curtains to block the sun and keep it cooler. Also looks good. It does seem to be a little heavy on the blinds but it works and hasn’t fallen or anything so far!

I wasn’t sure that these would be a solution for my space but I was thrilled that they not only work but are easy to install. I would absolutely recommend and purchase again. Great solution for renter friendly home decor.

This is my second set of Nono brackets and for some reason my curtains keep falling down. I follow the directions and watch YouTube videos, but I’ve had trouble with them staying up. It might be because I’m using them to hang curtains over vertical blinds.

Brought 2 sets based off other reviews. The middle hook is really needed to support the rod. Really easy & convenient!!!

Guess who thought they could just prop these things up? Meeeee lol.Turns out, ya DO have to screw them down to secure them. After my precious curtain, curtain rod, and ego fell to the floor I mounted these properly, and as I assumed they are worth every penny.I would recommend!

The material is metal, the slidey thing slides really well, and it holds the curtain rod as it says. It absolutely serves its purpose and I really like it for the most part. The thing I do want to say is that if you're short and don't have a tall ladder, it's really hard to screw the slidey part tight because the screw is a little "sticky" and if you're not careful you could strip the screw; when I had the bracket as small as it could go, it still had a little wiggle room so I don't think I'll be able to actually slide my curtains, BUT it works really well to be able to hold the curtains in place without damaging your walls; finally, the screws to secure the curtain rod itself is right at the top of the curtain, so it doesn't fit thinner rods which also means I won't be able to move my curtains. That being said, all in all it's a super cool product and I wish I had found it sooner because I already put holes in my walls for it.

I bought these to put a curtain pole on. They don’t hold anything the minute you put anything on it it falls off. I’ve had to gorilla double sided tape to try to hold them but even then they tend to slip and fall. The curtains are very light also.

This product is definitely one of a kind and super helpful. Almost 5 stars for convenience alone. I recently moved apartments where I previously had regularly installed curtain rods. It was a pain to remove and patch/paint the walls. I looked for the best alternative for my new apartment which has those terrible basic vertical blinds. I found the NoNo brackets and prayed they worked! They have turned out to be just what I needed but there are some things to consider before buying:1. If I was installing regular curtains, I would normally place them much higher on the wall, but this is a great alternative for convenience. Consider how it will look in your space before purchasing especially if you are buying the ones for window treatments that mount inside the window sill. If that is the case then a regular curtain rod might be worth it.2. I did have to buy new rods because mine where too thick. I the bought 3/4" rods at Ikea (they were cheap) and ended up having to rubber band the rod in place since the security screw on the holster didn't tighten enough to secure it. My curtains cover this so it's not an eyesore for me. If I had a do over, I would buy a light weighted 1" rod to avoid this.3. Definitely buy a 3-pack not matter the width of your window. I bought the 3-pack for my long bedroom window and bought the 2-pack for my shorter (64") living room window. After installing, I realized how much extra weight the rod and curtains put on the existing window treatment and wished I had the 3-pack to better distribute the weight evenly. Since the living room curtains I have are more decorative than functional, I knew I wouldn't be pulling them open and closed all the time stressing it more so I left it as is.

I used these to hang some block out curtains. The weight kept making the bracket slip off. I think they would work OK for very light material only.

I just moved to an apartment and really hated looking at the ugly patio blinds that most apartments come with. I am able to screw into the wall where I live, but I didn't want to unless if I had to. When I came across these, I was a little sceptical since I have never heard of a product like this, but these are PERFECT! They are super easy to install and don't cause any damage to the rail of your blinds. The only thing that you have to take off of your blinds is the cover part that covers the rail (which just clips on and off). They seem very sturdy. The only recommendation that I have if you are looking to buy for a patio window is to buy 2 packs if you buy a flimsier curtain rod. I bought a curtain rod that isn't very sturdy and I need that extra brace in the middle and I wish I wouldv'e bought that when I ordered these the first time. Otherwise, I absolutely love this product!

They were smaller than I expected, but worked as I hoped. I'm using 1 pair to hold 3 somewhat heavy panels over a single fully extended thin rod covering a bit over 2 meters.

Works as described. Not sure I would like them in a main room, but does the job for hanging black out curtains in our bedrooms for summer.
