So I live in a bit of an old house, the original stairs are over 100 years old and they are a little beat up. We have an older dog that needs to climb them and has been having a bit of trouble with the old hardwood and so we thought that these stair carpets would be a nice addition. These JSEI treads come pre-packaged with a plastic film that is sewn in the bottom that you need to peel back exposing the sticky silicone underside. It's a bit annoying to take that plastic off when you install them the first time, but that's my only very minor complaint. In general they work great. They stick down well but, If you need to move them, they pull up cleanly, leaving no residue or damage. They don't move around at all when they're stuck down. Additionally, they're very soft and comfortable on the feet. They seem to be fairly well made and study, and I think they'll last a good while. We've only had them up for a couple weeks but the fact that they're easy to remove and washable It's going to be very helpful.Overall I'm very pleased with these JSEI

These are fantastic and add a great deal of visual appeal to your otherwise bare stairs. I used mine on my basement stairs because they were just painted wood, and I didn't like its look. They look amazing (see my picture) and are actually very cushy/soft! Installation wasn't too bad either, as no adhesive is required. Removing the plastic backing was another story though. It tells you to heat the plastic sheet that covers the bottom with a hair dryer for one minute. I did it, and it didn't make removal easier. I also found the process incredibly tedious. Instead, I just used a knife to open each one. In total it took me about 10 minutes to install. So far they haven't moved a cm, and they seem quite durable. I'm very happy!

These are very nice. I replace some older latex-backed treads and I'm glad I did. These are a great upgrade - solidly non-slip, removeable, and do not leave residue on wooden stairs.

The color is just as pictured. They were very easy to install and are working great. We put these in a rental house to help the dogs manage the steps. I’m confident I can remove them without any damage to the steps. But they are nice enough I will probably leave them when we move out.

I absolutely adore these non-slip stair treads! 😍 They look fantastic on my indoor steps, adding a touch of elegance while ensuring safety 🏠. The quality is top-notch—very well made and durable, so I'm confident they'll withstand the test of time 💪. The soft, 100% polyester material is comfortable underfoot, making them perfect for kids, elders, and pets 🐾. These were so easy to install and they literally do not move once they are installed. They are a little longer than my steps but I just folded it up against the wall and that did the trick. Highly recommended for anyone seeking stylish and secure stair solutions! 👌

We recently purchased a vacation home that's a log cabin & both sets of indoor stairs were bare, so I wanted something that is more comfortable to walk on with bare feet. These carpeted stair treads give us exactly what we're looking for in regards to stability along with comfortability. They're pleasant feeling on bare feet as well as provide a non slip surface while walking up & down the stairs. The bottoms have a tacky backing that grips the stairs bare floor material & so far, I haven't found them to move at all once they're in place. I use a stick vacuum which glides over these treads easily.

Soft thick carpet material that has a decent amount of stick to one side but not the best I've seen. They stay put but I might try and add some more adhesive to the back to prevent movement or else we won't be able to use them.
