These are great. I like to use these in sensory bottles. But for the first use I filled a hanging vase in my kitchen for a color pop. The longest they were soaking was 12 hours. There are a lot of beads in this bag. I used a teaspoon in a vase that holds about 20 ounces of water.

These can shrink back to original size after a few days. I never really seen the bigger ones before but they’re really interesting. The sensory input of the bigger one and the smaller ones are actually really different. The bigger ones are easier to see and have a less finer texture than the smaller. I like to give the bigger ones a little squeeze just as careful as you would while holding a hamster because the bigger ones are not as structurally sound like their smaller variations. The smaller ones are a different type of sensory. So many colours, different temperatures with each individual piece and they move out of your grip a bit easier. They can tolerate being squeezed a bit more. Ideally these could be for adults but also kids.the package has the age range and it’s a good idea to read it before play begins. Well worth it so far.

The little beads and the big beads are all mixed up together. I guess I expected they would be in separate packs in the bag. It took close to an hour to separate out the sizes so I could use them in my vases. The color selection and quality is good though.

We recently had an event where I used these as part of a sensory activity-the kids enjoyed it so much that I am always trying to get more in these unique shapes for leading the kids in more and different kinds of activities. No matter what we do- they are a huge hit. I love that they are a good value for the money because after events- they are not worth saving. This particular set has extra large pieces- the kids enjoyed squishing them and breaking them. They are a great texture.

I used this item to help with plant watering. The beads hold enough water to supplement my watering schedule. The large ones don't pump up as big as the photos show. The description says that they should grow to 1.8"-2.2" but mine were only about an inch. I soaked them for a few days and made sure they had enough water. I wish the small ones and the large ones weren't all mixed together. It's easy to pick out the large ones but it takes time to do it. In summary, I like the small beads but not the large ones. The large ones didn't live up to the expectations set by the seller.

We are late to the water bead party, but my kids love them. It's especially neat having they big ones mixed in with the little ones. It seems like a good value, especially compared to how massively expensive they were 10 to 5 years ago!Do yourself a favor and only rehydrate a teaspoon at first.I have 5 kids, from 13 down to 3, and they all play with these. The 13 year old tries to trick people into thinking they are marbles, or playing with them AS marbles and shooters since the big ones are in there as well. The 10 and 6 year old play with them like they are pets, growing them in mason jars and keeping them in their rooms (obviously the big ones are the main attraction here). The 5 year old plays with them on a tray, makes them roll around in glitter, watercolors, etc. And the 3 year old just makes massive messes and squashes them all over the place!

You get a big zipper bag full of beads! The beads are all mixed together and come in a variety of colors. I do wish the larger beads were separated somehow. Larger ones are about the size of a large/shooter marble where the regular are slightly smaller than your standard marble. These are great for vase fillers or even putting in a bowl for sensory/calming/stress relief (NOTE: even though these are non-toxic, these can cause issues if swallowed so I would not let these around children, especially younger ones that are likely to put them in their mouths). I like that these are reusable as well- simply add more water and they rehydrate.

We didn't count the beads but there are a lot in here. We soaked a few tablespoons for a few days. The largest beads grew to be 1 1/4" (clear beads) to 1 3/8" (yellow beads). The other beads were various sizes, some of them were close to the 1 1/4". The smallest beads were around 3/8" after several days. It probably took about 24+ hours to get to their maximum size. These work great for adding to potted plants, or bowls of water under houseplants to help with humidity and evaporation. The big ones can easily be crushed up for adding to the soil. Having all the colors is fun - added some to a propagation jar with some plant starts, and it looks a lot more fun than just spindly plant cuttings - it also aids in keeping the cutting inside the jar as the leaves grow and the roots starting out aren't always enough to weigh it down (Swedish ivy is a quick start!!).
