The plates are good because I had spaghetti that was left over night and when I washed the plate the next morning, it didn’t stain.

Our little guy kept tossing our nice bone china dinnerware from his throne(high chair), so we went ahead and purchased these. 10 tosses in and they haven’t broken, nice to get away from plastic and they look cute as heck.

Loved them until one shattered. My toddle is still learning not to pick up and hit plates on the table. So this product is great for older toddlers/kids.

I've been looking for lightweight "lunch" plates that were at least top rack dishwasher safe and wouldn't leave knife cut marks when cutting sandwiches on them. That's it - no other crazy requirements. But I've been looking for over a year and have tried several melamine, plastic, and other eco-friendly options and to be honest, they've all failed on at least one of those 2 requirements. I found these bamboo plates and read the reviews vigilantly. I took a deep breath and ordered 2 sets of the 10" plates in complimentary designs. We've now used them for about a month and we LOVE them!! They are lightweight but very sturdy. The patterns are beautiful and vibrant. They stack so nicely in my cupboard and take up very little space. They wash perfectly on the top rack of the dishwasher using a hot wash and dry cycle - no warping, no discoloration. We've used butter knifes to cut sandwiches on them many times, and so far, not a single mark or scratch. We don't plan to use these plates for hot meals, so I can't speak to any potential staining from sauces. If you're looking for some casual, everyday plates that don't look like they belong in a dorm room, these fit the bill!

SO cute.Smaller than a normal big plate, so you eat less, LOL.Perfect for small dinners, sandwiches etc.Wonderful in the dishwasher.Ive used a sharp knife on it & No scraches.I even you them in microwave, for under 1 minute.Bought couple sets now & bought some for christmas presants.

I thought these would be more the size of a standard dinner plate. But they are about one size smaller. Not really an issue for me. It is not like I bought them to throw dinner parties. They are not supposed to be used in a microwave. I handwash my dishes so I also don't put them in the dishwasher. I have had them about 6 months, and I have been relatively happy with them. I bought them mainly because I was looking for something lighter to wash, dry and store. They meet all those desired wants. They have held up to all types of food without any staining or damage from use of regular utensils to cut and eat off.
