I love this cake pan! I make cakes all the time and got this for something different. Everyone loves the way the cakes made in this pan look. Just be sure to let them cool before turning them out onto a platter. If they are too hot, they will fall apart.

Helt i onödan. Kakan släppte taget så lätt att det nästan var löjligt. Är otroligt nöjd med formen och ser fram emot att prova många goda recept i den framöver.

I absolutely love this bundt pan! The color and design are gorgeous. It is great quality and well made, which shows through the pan's considerable weight. The first time I used it, I was nervous that my bundt cake wouldn't turn out pretty and that maybe some of the cake would get stuck in the ridges and folds, but I greased the pan prior to baking, and was pleasantly surprised to see that not only did the cake bake beautifully, but it was entirely intact! I love Nordicware in general, but this product certainly does not disappoint. I highly recommend it :)

This pan is awesome!! I made a rosette cake in it and it popped out with no issues. The pan is extremely heavy being made out of cast iron. It is sturdy and if you dropped it on your floor, I could see it chipping the floor or denting it (I don’t recommend testing that theory or your hubby might get ticked, just saying). I had cheaper bundt cake pans in the past and eventually the coating wore off or they rusted. I don’t expect that issue with this pan and am glad that I paid the extra price for something that seems like it will last for many many years to come. Highly recommend. And the rose cake is just breath-taking.

Beautiful cake tin by Nordic Ware! Expensive, but worth it! I have a few Nordic Ware tins, use them a lot and the cakes always come out perfect! I just spray it with sunflower oil before pouring in the cake batter and after baking it comes out easily! Then just fill it with warm water for a few minutes and clean it with soft brush! Easy! Love Nordic Ware tins!

I now own 24 of these pans. They will last generations if you wash these by hand. Made in the USA which now means more & more to most of us! Even though these say they are non-stick, you will HAVE to use a spray oil with flour such as Pam or Bakers Joy. Fill pans with batter to 2/3rds or 3/4th full to prevent spill-over. After taking out of the oven, let the pan sit for 10 to 15 minutes before turning the pan over. The cake will fall out on it's on. I let mine sit for a few hours on a baking rack to cool down. On this particular Rose pan, the design looks the best if you just sprinkle powdered sugar over the cake. You could also use an extra fine bakers sugar. Frostings distort the design.

For some reason, Amazon will not let me review the Bavaria pan. It brings up the Rose pan review. Both pans are great.Preparation is easy, just apply Crisco with a pastry brush and then flour. ( I usually use a paper towel to place the Crisco in the pan and then work the Crisco in with the pastry brush ) The cake releases without sticking and is well defined. Wash the pan in hot soapy water...no need to soak. Be sure to use a soft, nonabrasive dishcloth. If any residue is left, I put a piece of a folded paper towel over a toothpick, and clean out the tiny detailed areas of the pan. ( the paper towel prevents the toothpick from scratching the pan and removes any residue ) I've even used the corner of a dish towel to work into the detailed ares to remove any residue. When stacking the pans to store, I place wax paper or paper towels between them to prevent scratches. ( I have several Nordic Ware Bundt pans )ROSE- This pan makes a beautiful cake. I've made two cakes using boxed cake mixes and used all of the batter. I didn't have any problems with the batter/cake spilling over while baking. If you like a FROSTED cake, this might not be the pan for you... the frosting hides the beautiful rose detail.BAVARIA- I made a boxed lemon cake with this pan, adjusting the recipe for a bundt pan. The cake turned out great. I used canned lemon frosting that I warmed in the microwave to make it thin. I drizzled the frosting over the entire cake.

I've had this pan for about 8 months. The first problem I had was my first cake overflowing. However, since I'm not the neatest cook, I keep a sheet pan in the bottom of my oven for just such an occasion, so the mess was really minor. That's when I figured out it holds less batter than the average pan! On a more positive note, though, the sides are higher than the central tube, and the mess was contained to a much smaller area as a result. The first four cakes I made with this were wonderful. I sprayed the pan with non-stick spray and they all came out beautiful. Then Mom came to visit and guaranteed me the pan would stick if I didn't grease it. "How silly," I thought, "they've all been fine so far..." Of course that cake and every cake thereafter refused to budge from the pan. What finally worked was, as another viewer wrote, to grease the pan liberally with shortening and a pastry brush. Everyone thinks the cakes are beautiful and my daughter even requested I use it to bake her birthday cake for her "garden party". Well worth the price. :o)*****Ouch. This review is 20 years old. Man, I feel old. Probably because I am old. Anyhow, just thought I'd mention I still use this pan frequently, and it's still great. It's heavy for a cake pan, with nice, thick walls, so even baking. Cakes come out easily with Pam baking spray. Absolutely no complaints.
