Believe it's a good jug but they sent me the wrong size

Despite only ever having hand washed this pitcher I'm already finding spots where the paint is starting to chip away after only two months of use. It even looks like It might be starting to rust slightly near the top of the handle. The white paint works well to add a modern feel to your kitchen counter, but when more durable stainless steel alternatives are readily available for a third of the price I have a hard time recommending this.

I got this as a pitcher that my 4 kids could use to serve themselves water at the dinner table. Unfortunately it's too small to actually fit enough water for all the kids, but it's good for refills, at least.I was worried that the finish would flake in the dishwater, but it's nice quality and so far it has held up after a few runs.I was thinking this would be the size of the kind of milk frother I used in my days as a barista, but it's probably about half that size. It is nice overall, and I'm sure we'll find plenty of uses for it around the kitchen.

I am new to the exciting world of being a Home Barista and I'm an absolute novice on the best of days. That said, I am really liking this frothing pitcher. Am I any good at making "latte art?" Oh no. Not even close, but I'm learning. This pitcher is quite lovely, though I believe it has potential that exceeds my current barista-ing capabilities. For the experienced, this is probably an amazing pitcher due to the sharpness of its spout which apparently allows for much greater precision when creating latte art. Personally, I am counting it as a win if I end up with anything more than just a creamy cup of coffee! Mostly I end up with creamy coffee and foam, but not much by way of art.As for quality, this item exceeded my expectations. The workmanship of the pitcher appears to be very good. It's nice that this pitcher has the white exterior and it stands out when retrieving it from the cabinet. Even the original packaging (see 1st photo) has a kind of elegance I didn't expect when ordering a frothing pitcher. It has that "Apple" vibe going on which makes it feel quite high end, but that's likely true for most of the marketing we fall for nowadays! XD Another bonus on this one is that the measurement markings are inside the pitcher and easy to read (See 3rd photo). The big thing I want to point out is, well, actually about the pitcher being big! The capacity of this pitcher is just over 20oz. and nearly every frothing pitcher I have found is considerably smaller at 12oz. Until using this pitcher I was using a 2-cup measuring cup with a "normal" spout to froth my milk and that's been fine for me to learn the basics. When I switched to this pitcher it did not feel as if I was learning the process over, but I suspect if I had switched to a smaller 12oz pitcher I would have felt frustrated. As a newbie home barista, I love this thing, but I admit that my appreciation for it may have to do with its larger capacity and Apple-esque aesthetics. How it performs is based predominantly on my personal skill level right now and I am sure this pitcher is more advanced than I should be using. If you want a larger pitcher - this is a great choice. If you want a pretty pitcher - also a great choice. Value is always going to be fairly personal and subjective, but I am pleased to have this one in my new barista arsenal.

During a decade of trial and error, I’ve learned that great coffee starts with good beans and quality equipment. Recently I’ve been trying to find a quality milk pitcher that holds enough milk for two coffee drinks yet isn’t too tall for my machine. After being disappointed by a couple products that were too large for my machine or cheaply made, I came across the 20.3-ounce pitcher Normcore Milk Pitcher (with sharp spout) and decided to give it a try.The Normcore milk pitcher is very attractive. The exterior is coated with Teflon for easy cleaning and the stainless-steel interior has clearly marked measuring lines (feels laser etched) to help you gauge volume. The 20.3-ounce pitcher’s height is 4-5/8 inches/11.75 cm, which is great for those with low-profile machines. The container’s steel is 1mm as advertised, and the handle is thick and sturdy and feels comfortable in my hand.I’ve used the milk frothing pitcher 5 times now and it works as advertised. Its dimensions are just right for my machine, it pours nicely, and it cleans up well when washed by hand. I agree with other’s comments that it is not likely dishwasher safe. I want to keep it looking nice, so I will stick with hand washing. Even though the exterior has two coats of Teflon on it, I am not sure how it will hold up over time. I’ve never had anything Teflon coated that didn’t eventually flake/peel. I will update this review if that happens. There are a lot of positives to the Normcore 20.3-ounce Milk Pitcher and one huge drawback – the price. The list price of the product at the time of this review is $35.99 (20% off during Amazon’s Prime Big Deal sale). Even with a 20% discount, it is overpriced. I recently gave my son a very nice name brand stainless-steel milk frothing pitcher that was simply too large for my machine, and it was 1/2 the price of the Normcore product! A quick search here on Amazon and you will find many products that are as good at a much better price point.

Size perfect for me and so far seems high quality. Really like the ml & oz measurement lines visible inside the pitcher-nice to no longer have to guess and steam too much or too little milk. Light weight, feels good in my hand and not too hot for me to handle but it does get warm quickly. Mine didn’t come with the silicone grip mentioned in the description. Not sure if the description is wrong or grip just forgotten. Have to shift from holding by the body to handle when it gets too warm. Not a big deal as both grips comfortable for me & good indicator when mill temp is near where I like it! I’m not skilled at latte art but this does help make a nice foam and sharp tip seems to concentrate and control flow so I can see how it could be useful that way. Also easy to clean. Looks nice on my counter too.
