I was happy to receive this today and am very impressed by the quality of the product. It is durable stainless and the broiler sheet is intelligently designed and fits neatly in the lower pan. I have searched for a long time for a pan and finally found this one.

I used the broiler rack to broil a pork tenderloin. Results were delicious but the rack was just as broiled as the food. I soaked the broiled-on debris overnight but still had to pry off every speck of burned-on meat and sauce. The dishwasher removed uncooked grease, of course, but did not budge the cooked-on juice and sauce. In addition, the rack sits rather loosely on the pan below, and could easily be slid off to spill everything. Shopping for a replacement.

I got real lucky in that it PERFECTLY fits into the slots on the sides of my toaster oven, while I thought I was going to have to use it the long way (my oven is a little deeper than it is wide). It is easy to clean as long as you clean it soon (or soak it) before anything can dry on it. Suggest using some spray oil to help that, and (I figured out a long time ago), I put a little water in the bottom tray when I'm broiling. Nothing sticks or dries on if you do that. My free tip that works.

My toaster oven came with a non-stick pan, but some idiot put it into the dishwasher and ruined it. Luckily I was able to find this nice pan and have them replace the one that was ruined. There is a non-stick version of this broiler pan, but I opted for the stainless steel as it seemed like better quality. I needed something that would survive under the broiler and not just a simple backing pan. This pan can be used with or without the top part. I always line the bottom part with foil for easy cleanup. I only hand wash this. The top part is much easier to hand clean than any of my regular oven sized broiler pans. This pan is great for broiling burgers, bacon, or for charring peppers for antipasto. It's actually better than the pan I originally had, so I am very happy with this.

I purchased this in Apr 2015. I have an older Oster 6295 6-slice toaster oven that came with an aluminum broiling tray and pan. The aluminum was too soft that, eventually, the tray and pan warped and got bent out of shape in every direction. The broiling tray also developed tears at the center, where they would usually get bent while washing.I was on the lookout for a 9" x 12" (or shorter than 12") stainless steel broiling tray and pan that would fit in my toaster oven. This Norpro stainless steel roasting and broiling pan fits the bill. Its dimensions are:Width (with triangular "handle" turned inward) ...............11-7/8" (30.2 cm)Depth.................................................................................9" (23 cm)Height (perforated pan stacked on solid pan).....................1-7/16" (3.7 cm)Height (perforated pan only).................................................1.4 cmI find the height of the stacked pieces too tall (3.7 cm) when heating, broiling, baking thicker food (e.g., chicken). I get around it by just setting the perforated tray on top of my older aluminum solid pan. That shaves off > 2 cm from the height of the broiler pan.In more than a year of daily use, the trays have not rusted or warped. I either handwash or wash it in the dishwasher, depending on whether I have a full dishwasher load or not. I handwash using a brush so I don't have to scrub each indented square individually with a scouring pad.

The pan is pretty light weight, the medal is just thick enough that it is functional. I don't expect it to last too long under the broiler. I would not use it to make gravy on the stove. But, it works and is functional. It is a good size. Big enough for two decent steaks or a small roast. Easy clean up.

Contrary to what others may have said, this roasting pan is NOT "hard to clean" and the edges are NOT "sharp". (Not the ones I got anyway.)Yes, I got more than one. Because as I soon as I received the first one, I immediately ordered two more. They are not only great for roasting and broiling, the bottom pan is also useful by itself for many other cooking tasks. It's even attractive enough to be used as just a serving dish.Cleaning? Compare to the large pan with wire rack I've been using mindlessly for a decade: scrubbing that big pan is bad enough, but cleaning the wire rack? A huge pain. So much of a pain that it used to discourage me from making my favorite dish -- a small lamb roast. (That big pan is now set aside only for a big holiday turkey.)This Nopro pan fits the lamb roast perfectly. It's also small enough that I can fit it into the toaster oven. If that appliance is busy, into the regular oven it goes. The top section drains off the fats perfectly, and it scrubs clean with a normal dish brush in seconds. The thing just seemed so darn useful and sized perfectly for multiple tasks that I now have three. They stack together for compact storage. And, at this price, they really are a steal.

I have used this three times thus far -- one to melt some cheese on a sandwich (which left some pieces of melted cheese on the broiling section of the pan), one to bake some fresh fish (on the baking pan), and the last to reheat some fried seafood (sitting on the broiling rack). Not only did all three uses work well, but any cooked on food released easily. Sometimes I soaked the pans for a bit with warm, soapy water, but using a plastic scrubby or a sponge, this came absolutely clean. It pretty much looks new.I got this as a substitute for the aluminum broiling pan/rack that came with my older Black & Decker toaster oven. This stainless set is SO much better than the aluminum one. The only ever so slight negative is the slightly sharp edge to the pieces, which some have noted. Not exactly razor sharp, but you just have to be aware and a bit careful. I have not found it hard to clean and it's a great substitute for the aluminum. For the price, I really can't ask for more.
