It does what it's suppose to, it grabs well and has a good spring and strength to it. The only thing that I have an issue with is the metal shaft of this is forming RUST spots, even being stainless steel. Never put in the dishwasher either. I use this everyday, I've only had it for a few months. I feel like rust shouldn't take affect this early especially not from the dishwasher.

I like the stainless steel. The plastic one I had broke.

This metal version is much better than the plastic ones. I love the ease of use, we pop it in the dishwasher when done and it's holding up well.

Perfect for pickles, olives, etc. I have one and purchased two as gifts. Works great and fun to use.

We love pickles and often have 5+ jars in the house. We used a fork for a while but upgraded to a plastic grabber (much like this one). We only hand washed it but it broke after 10 or so washes. I then decided to upgrade to this stainless one. Very durable! I also will only hand wash, as it will fall through my silverware caddy. I find it easy to clean and it works great. Not for slices! We've had great success with whole pickles but also works decently for spears.

Looks good in the picture and the stainless steel body seems like a good idea but the actual prongs that dip down into the salty olive brine are made of the cheapest pot metal and began to corrode and break off after less that a month of use. If I still had the box, I'd return it but I don't so it simply becomes a total waste of money. The seller ought to be ashamed of selling this.
