Four stars is only due to price. These are exactly what I was looking for and seem to be well made. They are lightweight and have a long handle which is nice as some of the pickle jars are fairly deep and you either have to stick your hand down in the jar using a regular fork or spill pickle juice everywhere trying to turn the jar sideways. I've ran them through the dishwasher several times and they held up just fine.

I ordered a set of these a few years ago, Since then I've ordered another set as we found our selves using them much more than expected! They are sturdy little forks that we use for pickles, olives, and fruit.

These long forks reach into the jars of pickles and such so that you don't have to use your fingers. It keeps the food clean. It's still hard to stab the said fruit/veggie at times, but that could be user error. ;) Nicely made and wash well in the dishwasher.

Works great for getting all kinds of pickles out of jars! I use it almost daily since I pickles are one of my favorite daily snacks. I have used it for pepperoncini, cocktail onions, baby dills and regular dill pickles. Nice and sturdy and stabs pickles well.
