Gleaming, superior stainless construction looks beautiful and lasts a lifetime. Smooth edges won't scratch your precious mash tun, keeping it pristine for countless brews to come. A flanged bottom keeps particulates separated for improved clarity. Best of all, with less than ¼" of dead space you'll get every last drop of wort.
A false bottom acts as a strainer, preventing grain particles from draining into the boil kettle with wort. An essential piece of all-grain equipment, we've built the Titan to be stronger and more effective than any other false bottom.
Our brewmasters have thrown every worst-case brewing situation at the Titan. It has never clogged and never collapsed. The two-piece proprietary Titan pickup tube supports the dome to withstand whatever pressure your biggest brew day can muster.
The Titan pickup tube gets closer to the floor of your mash tun than any other false bottom. You'll be able to transfer more of your wort into the boil kettle, leaving less than ¼" behind in what is called the "dead space".
Required but not included: a ⅜” barb fitting for the inside of your kettle or cooler and a short length of ⅜” high-temp tubing to connect the barb to the elbow on the false bottom. Worm clamps can also help secure this connection.

I'm thinking I'll tell my wife its a part for my UFO reenactors club. does that seem too outlandish? I probably shouldn't spend any more money on beer stuff.It looks great, maybe a little sharp on the edges but nothing a little light polishing can't fix. The fittings are nice. I'm excited to try it. my home made solution often resulted in stuck sparge.

The holes are big enough for grain to sneak past. This meant that no matter how much time was spent performing the Vorlauf process grain still came through. I finally had to give up and put the end of the hose in bag and let the bag catch all the grain that came through.I'm thinking of a few things I can do like put a screen over top to prevent grain from sneaking through.

The false bottom collapsed doing a 27L batch, 22L of water and 7Kg of malt since the first brew. After mashing you can reshape it again with the hand but still, on every brew it collapses, we thought this one was gonna be better than the competence, but we have not been able to find a goo false bottom.

Works as advertised to filter wort from your mash. When I went to all grain brewing, I moved to this higher surface area false bottom to prevent stuck mashes.
