Note this 12 inch stove also needs to be connected to 240v without a plug . It is more powerful than those 110v ones and heats up faster!

I installed this 12-inch Noxton electric cooktop in my rental property kitchen, and it’s been working fine since. The two radiant ceramic burners heat up quickly with 3000W of power, handling basic cooking tasks without any issues. The sensor touch controls are easy to use, and the timer’s a handy feature for keeping things on track. It’s a 220V hardwired unit, so setup took some effort, but once in place, it’s performed as expected. The child safety lock adds a nice touch of security. A solid option for a compact space.

My ultimate goal for this cooktop is to go in a cooking trailer. So just to test it out, I wired it up to some leads coming off a power center that was wired to my generator, since that's how it's going to be hooked up on the trailer. Then I did the water boil test--1 liter of water on the small burner. And it heated up really quickly, about 5:12 to a full boil. That's only 3 seconds slower than a KitchenAid cooktop that my brother put in a house he renovated recently. And it's worth noting that the KitchenAid cooktop cost over $1300. So 3 seconds is all the performance you get for that extra $1000+. Naturally, I'm quite impressed by that. I'm probably never going to use that performance, since this is mostly going to be used to keep sauces warm and so on, but it's nice to know that I have it if I need it. Overall, this is a very well-priced and high-performing cooktop, especially if you take a look at similar appliances from the big brands at the big hardware stores. So if you're looking for a budget-friendly cooktop for an RV, cook shack, or other building project, this is definitely a good one to consider.
