The door closer itself is almost exactly like an LCN 4040 but for much less money.I was ordering these instead of the LCN or other similar door closers but out of the 8 that I have purchased, I have had 4 of them come with a broken plastic case. That means I have to either use the old cover if it is a replacement, or order another closer and only use the cover.They need to also offer the parallel arm steel drop plate that lets them work on storefront doors.

The door closer hardware is heavy as heck and works great. The decorative cover is made of a brittle plastic and ships with the heavy hardware alongside. As a result several showed up with broken covers, I reached out to Nuk3y's customer service who very quickly turned around and shipped out replacement covers for me. Great work!

This door closer works great, it came with instructions and multiple templates depending on your mounting application or preference. It had all the hardware you need included (even though I feel the bolts were a little on the soft side). After it was installed it has three different adjustment screws so you can make this door close exactly how you want it to. I put it in my side door to my steel building and had to add a few washers because the steel buildings door was a little thinner then your standard door. Overall I’m happy with the product!

You can tell that this is ADA certified - it’s very heavy and seems like it could close a vault door. Very heavy and heavy duty - closes slowly but not too slowly. Exactly what I was looking for to close a heavy wooden door.
