Although purchased as new, this hammer arrived looking like it had been used and abused. The side (non-striking area) of the head had several crescent-shaped dents in it that looked like someone had taken out their frustrations on it. In addition, the quality of the finishing grind was very poor....the head face grind was uneven and the ball portion was only a vague representation of "spherical". Finally, there was what appeared to be dried glue smeared at the junction of the shaft and grip. I bought Nupla because they represent themselves a USA manufacturer, but if this is evidence of what they call quality, I'll look elsewhere.Kudos to Amazon for their easy and fair return policy.
