I used it to top the plastic sleeve on my mailbox pole. It seems well made and sturdy at an excellent price. Comes with the two screws needed to secure it and matches the plastic sleeve almost perfectly. As noted in the headline, this is made to fit a 6X6 lumber post which has actual dimensions close to 5 1/2

They were what we needed. The only problem was everything was thrown in the bag, the screws were thrown loose in the shipping bag. And was missing a screw. And I didn't have one to match.

These fit our post very well. Not every screw was with them (6 were missing) but that’s easily remedied. They’re thicker than I expected and I believe they’ll last for a long time to come. Also, they’ll help to preserve our posts by keeping them from soaking water.

The caps were good, but some of the screws were missing and the ones that were there would have rusted real quick.
