- I love working with the Oxford canvas cloth style so much more than the flimsy plastic ones. However, I imagine if you are doing exceptionally wet and muddy work, then the plastic style will be more cleanable. This one gives you a combination of the inner lining being waterproof.- And I love the vibrant color of this one. I have an earlier version that just came in dark green. It’s fine, but this just makes me feel happy and energized.- The snaps are hardy brass ones that will hold up. The material is thick. The seams are done well and so will hold up to use.- I like these for potting obviously, but I also like them for dog grooming or crafting,etc- anything that might be messy or benefit from a protective barrier to a surface that might get scratched.- Storage is very compact whether you roll it or fold it.

For the longest time I thought I didn’t really need this and I could just get by using a garbage bag. But this is so much more convenient and easy to clean up. And should you no longer need it as a potting mat, it could also double as a pet pee pad under-mat.
