Use Directions
Begin by letting your dog taste a small amount of Nylabone Dental Toothpaste. Using your finger, gently rub teeth and gums in a circular motion. I have been using this toothpaste for my furry companion since June, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. The toothpaste not only had a pleasant scent (bacon) and flavor that my dog seemed to enjoy, but it also effectively helped improve his dental hygiene. We have senior dachshunds (little dogs) and this is the only toothbrush that has ever worked for them. It’s the perfect size and the crook of the brush helps get their side teeth.

My dog was a little weird but he liked the taste and was very receptive to getting his teeth brush. I have a 6 year old Pomeranian and was concerned he would not like the idea. Very easy to use brushes and he loves the flavor of the dog tooth paste! great value!

I don't think the finger brush would work for my beagle, an older, medium sized dog. I think it's more for your small dogs like chihuahuas and shih tzus. But the toothbrush works well and the grips make it easier to hold. My dog seems to tolerate the paste better than baking soda and water. It's still odd to think of "bacon extract" as an appropriate toothpaste ingredient, but it works.Overall, does the job and my dog seems to tolerate it. Better than buying them separately. Would buy again.

The toothbrush seems good, although my dog does not like it. The finger brush is also good and he at least lets me near his mouth with it. The toothpaste is very thick and maybe a little dry. I cannot get it out of the tube. Any ideas?

My 10lb 6 year old chihuahua loves the taste of this toothpaste; I love the smell and texture. It's very easy to clean his teeth, I use the little rubber brush because he is really afraid of the toothbrush. The bristles on the rubber brush are soft and supple; this is important because he has multiple dental issues and has had to get surgery to remove a lot of his teeth and his gums are sensitive. I will definitely be buying the Nylabone toothpaste again once my tube runs out. This is also super affordable. Brushing his teeth a few times a week is way cheaper than getting professional dental work done all the time!

Our old timer gets daily brushing and the usual pet brushes were too stiff for him. W/this brush, he doesn't fight/flinch...except for the taste of the toothpaste.I didn't try it, I trust the Keeper Dog as he'll eat anything. So we keep the toothpaste for emergency only, and continue to use the brush w/Virbac C.E.T. toothpaste.And the toothbrush is of a mat'l that looks/feels like it will last longer than the 'other ones'. It's softer; but, more durable.
