The blower motor in my 2011 GT was making a noise when running. I removed the fan from the dash and found some trash in the squirrel cage, but are reinstalling, it still made noise. I bought this fan and ad other have said the squirrel cage touched the top of the chamber and wouldn’t spin. I placed a socket over the shaft where the cage connects, tapped it with a hammer and drove it down a few millimeters. Reinstalled it and blows stronger than the old one and is quiet! Very pleased!

Fit my 2006 Miata. I had to slightly loosen three mounting screws since fan was making contact and and noise after initial install. After loosening screws, fan is quiet and more powerful than original

The blower is powerful, way more than the original installed, but the fan size was a little bit bigger and it was touching the case, causing to stop the blade and make a lot of noise, however I cut and roughed it in the top of the fan and left the screws loose and the problem was solved, the price is amazing for the quality I just think you guys have to check the size for each model, in my case was a mazda mx5 nc 2007 sport, anyway I am happy with the product

Great fan, works perfectly IF it doesn't hit your housing. When you install this, you need to pulse the power to it, do not turn power on and leaveit. If it doesn't immediately spin up, turn the power off and remove the fan then press the fan further down the shaft until you get the fan to spin freely inside the housing. I had to adjust the height down about 4mm to get the fan to spin freely. You can burn up the fan, the speed control resistor, and/or the fuse if you turn it on and leave it on when there's interference. Another 2mm further down than the 2mm I show in the picture was perfect.
