Maybe it's just a me problem. I got these for my X52 Pro, and I tested the largest size first. Way too tight. Having to put too much force on the stick doesn't fill me with confidence, I don't want to break the thing or rip the mount of my desk.So I tried the small one. This one felt marginally better. As I play Elite Dangerous, I went into a CZ and tested it out. I got halfway through a skirmish when I popped it out. It tensions the spring too much, I think, and reduces overall performance. I don't want to have to set sensitivity to compensate. I think the end result for me is I won't be using these, and will instead just get a heavier gauge spring replacement.These were definitely not for me.

Pure trash. Avoid at all costs. It's now stuck and the useless prying tool they provide won't help remove the springs from the grooves. If you wish to ruin your joystick forever look no further

Really good fit. Spring tension now 10 times better!The tool supplied for pressing down on the spring is a flimsy.I wasn't expecting a tool, used my fingers anyway.

A lot of people have a love hate relationship with the hotas x52. For me, I love all the functionality but loath the flimsy, floppy, joystick. The spring is so loose there is hardly any resistance at all while moving it around it's axis. Well, this simple, tiny, little mod has turned it into something unrecognisable. I've installed the largest of the supplied plastic inserts and now the stick is 100% rigid with plenty of resistance. It brings a whole new enjoyment to Elite: Dangerous and Falcon BMS. 5/5 highly recommended.

Great product, adds a lot of value feel to the stick and kinda feels like it should have come with it.!! Beware - Try the mid sized before trying the biggest one because that one is a B$% to get out. The smallest makes a big difference, the mid nice step up, and the biggest IHMO is too much pressure for such cheap plastic (the stick, not the insert)
