The original IAC was throwing a code on my dash of 505. I took it off, tested it with a multimeter and jumpers on the 1st (+) and 2nd (-) prong and then the 3rd (+) and 4th (-) prong. It was supposed to read 48 +/- 2 ohms. Mine was right at threshold hold of 50.0 after multiple reading within an hour. I decided to go ahead and replace it. It runs a lot smoother and start up at idle is noticeably different. The original lasted about 6 years. Hopefully this one will hold up longer. Easy replacement. Two screws hold it in from the bottom. Took 10 mins.
