Was a perfect OEM replacement. I looked up my part # before ordering and verified that it looked identical to my old one. I made sure my furnace power switch was off. Once it arrived I took many many pictures and positions of my old one and numbered/labeled wires and labeled the old one where each wire and plug was. Then unhooked the old and followed my labeled numbers and pictures to the new one when I hooked back up. Flipped my furnace power back on and worked just as it should. Also arrived in less than 24 hours after purchasing.

Direct upgraded swap that will snap into placed using the original back plate and mounting screws. Fixed my furnace and seems to be running just fine! Would recommend over the cheaper non OEM alternatives.

After 24 years 1 of my 2 furnaces in a 2 family unit finally acted up. Problem: The furnace fired up, ran for 5 seconds then quit and constantly went through this cycle. It was throwing a code of 3 flashing yellow lights. It signified the replacement of the "furnace vent air pressure" switch. It checked out fine by me but I replaced it and the flame sensor anyway. The problem persisted. The technician I contacted did an excellent job checking out the furnace parts with his high-tech meters but blamed the problem on the thermostat. I had just replaced the thermostat a month earlier. He wanted $500 to replace it. Crazy right? So, I contacted Honeywell and had them run me through testing the thermostat with a Digital multimeter which the Tech "did NOT" do. Everything checked out fine. ONLY 1 thing left to replace and that was the circuit board. . . . The code it was throwing was false! I replaced it, which involves carefully identifying the serial number and crossing it over to Nordyne, labeling the wires and swapping them to the new board. I can only imagine the insane price he would of wanted to replace it at $150 an hour. The Nordyne is a direct replacement for my factory Tappen board which would have cost 3x the price. Good luck. You can do it.

Our church's air conditioning was not working and a stretch of 90 degree plus days were expected. The HVAC serviceman determined that part number FG6RA 144C-20C was needed for our Gibson unit. The cost was much better than it would have been if the hvac guy had sourced it through his supplier. Thanks to this part, we have been able to endure some over 90 degree days.

*** Update as of 02/08Furnace started acted again as it was with older board and i don't know what's wrong now. Since the symptoms are back, I believe the issue is not with the board or probably this new board is also problematic.-------------------------Ordered based on the model number. My board says 624631-A, this one says 624631-B, but look wise exactly the same. Give it a try and it worked like a charm. Took 5/10 min to change, Just take your time, move one wire at a time from old to new. Take a picture (or more from different angles to be sure just in case you have to refer back).Once i am done with all the connections make sure you check them again to be sure all wires seated well. For me, When i switched on, it did not even show switched on. Tried to push some wires again and all of a sudden, it started. Next, it was just running the blower, no ignition, so i afraid the board is not compatible. I let it run for few min and switched off thinking to go back to old board, but after lunch, i tried to give another try. This time, it was trying to switch or doing it something different, clicking sound back and forth, again thought something wrong, but let it do its thing for few min. Made sure all wires properly seated, few seems not property gone, but again pressed and made sure they do.Patience paid off. After few min, finally the ignitor came on and then the gas and everything. Working for the last few days now without any problem. Looks like working perfectly fine now.Moral of the story (At least for me), May be its just the board is new and trying to sync up and understand all the mechanics or what ever, Give it some time and make sure everything is properly done before you decide to return. Good Luck with yours.
