The Double Flaring Tool Set offers a special design for double or single flare in copper, aluminum, soft steel brake line, and brass tubing. Includes 5 adapters: 3/16-inch, 1/4-inch, 5/16-inch, 3/8-inch, 1/2-inch (4.8mm through 12.7mm). Chrome swivel is made of alloy steel to reduce friction. Yoke is forged heat treaded steel. Includes a molded case for convenient storage.

It ia piece of crap, fell apart as soon as it came out of the package. Unfortunately I had waited past the return time before opening it. DON'T BUY!

This is one of those where you regret buying a cheap tool. I took a gamble with this considering it would be a one time use and sadly it turned to be a failure. Certain times you can get away with cheap tools but the risk is always High. Most often than not, your time is waisted making it work. Whats suppose to be a 10-15min job turned out to be 2 hours as i have to run to HD to get one that works. This tool wont hold 1/2 copper pipe. The slipping is a common flaw that you see in other reviews. Tried tightening the bolts as much as i can but no luck. Avoid buying this tool.

i was in need of a flare connection on one pipe that connects the natural gas to my furnace. after asking around for one to borrow and coming up dry, i decided i would have to purchase a flare tool. at the local big box they had them for like 30$, this was a deal 10$ as i was only planning on a single use of the tool, no need for the high priced one. this arrived fairly quickly. i was able to make the proper flare, but there was some slipping involved and the locking bars bent fairly easily, but for a one time use, it got the job done.
