This has been working really well for my Pi 5. Functionally, I have no issue at all. One reviewer said it doesn’t stay in the outlet, so I was a bit worried that, but I haven’t had this problem. There may be variation in unit quality, though. My only real complaint is that it would be nicer to have a longer cable, or even better, have a detachable cable, so I could chose my own length

Gets rid of the low voltage warning that even my best USB-C chargers get when powering my RPi5. I suspect the problem is that the USB-C spec allows for a slightly larger voltage drop at 5V than the RPi5 allows. My best USB-C spec’d power supplies put out plenty of power, the Pi5 ran perfectly fine, no performance degradation despite the pi Powering 2NVME 2Tb sticks. But, I’d get the voltage warning. This power supply gets rid of the warning. Probably because it’s a 5.1V supply instead of a 5V supply.

Had RaspPi5 random crashes with Plex using a standard USB C cable. Replaced it with this power supply and not had an issue since. Low profile, works great and recommended.

I used to run my Pis using POE, but I opted for power bricks in case I ever need to move the network cable around and not worry about shutting down the unit. These power bricks are overkill for the Pi4, but I still use them so if I ever upgrade the 4 to the newer version 5, I don't have to re-buy power adapters.

If you do not use smart power it will not work right with the Pi 5 and will stated that output power on your pi 5 ports are limited. This is the official pi power supply.

Not much to say - it's the genuine Pi 5 Power Supply, and it works great.
