The four pins in the corners are epoxied in and the epoxy is squirting out when they push the pins in and it is not cleaned up. I had to take a razor blade and cut all the excess epoxy off of the base plate so that the red dot site would sit flush flat and not rock back-and-forth on two of the corner pins that were holding it up.

This is a well crafted adapter for putting a red/green dot reflex sight with a number of popular footprints (Vortex Venom/Viper/Burris Fastfire/Docter) on a Picatinny rail mount. The adapter is fixed on the Picatinny rail with one screw. The reflex sight is fixed on top of the adapter with 2 screws included with the adapter and a wrench (also included). The finished setup looks and feel very durable.

I chose this mount to attach a red dot sigh to a shotgun. This red dot mount is very well machined and the four corner mounting pins lined up perfectly with the red dot sight that I chose. The mount fits Picatinny or Weaver style bases. The mount slides over the base by pushing a spring loaded release. Once the red dot mount is slid onto the base it is tightened with two stainless steel screws to secure the mount.
