I had fallen several times so my knees are not good. In Dec 24, I ended up with a torn meniscus. I loved all the activities I could do outside. I just wanted to be outside planting. I have the thick extra pad. I hope it fits ok on top. It is better than no pad or support, but i paid the highest amount to get the perfect one for my really wanting to go outside to plant. I may have to send them back. The sides that fold up are really hard for me to do so. I'm going to still give it proper time to evaluate and than if I have to return it. I hope it does work for me. We will see
