Got a variety of Chinese and western instruments to hang up, and the hooks seem to do the job. Had to tie an elastic band on the mount in front of each instrument to stop them sliding out by accident, but not a problem and easy to take off when taking the instruments out.

I recently purchased the Ohuhu Guitar Wall Mount Hanger 2-Pack and couldn’t be happier with my purchase. These guitar wall mounts are exactly what I needed to display and store my instruments securely and stylishly. The build quality of these mounts is excellent. The wooden base looks elegant and blends well with my home decor, while the metal hangers are strong and reliable. They hold my guitars firmly in place, providing peace of mind that they won’t slip or fall.Installation was straightforward, thanks to the included screws and clear instructions. It took me only a few minutes to mount each hanger on the wall. Once installed, the mounts felt very secure and capable of supporting the weight of my electric and acoustic guitars, as well as my ukulele and mandolin. One of the standout features is the padded yoke that gently cradles the neck of the instrument, preventing any scratches or damage. The adjustable width is also a nice touch, accommodating different neck sizes and allowing me to use the mounts for various stringed instruments, including my bass guitar.Overall, the Ohuhu Guitar Wall Mount Hanger 2-Pack offers excellent value for the price. They are sturdy, easy to install, and provide a stylish way to display and store your instruments. I highly recommend these wall mounts to any musician looking for a reliable and attractive solution for their guitars and other stringed instruments.

Easy to install on wall studs/plaster wall (used a stud finder and some painting tape to mark it all out and make it level). They seem sturdy, look good and maintain sufficient distance from the wall to ensure the guitars don't hit it. Overall, very happy so far!

They're not super fancy, but they're inexpensive, and they work well. I put quite a bit of force on the hook with my hand to kind of "test it out" when I first got them, and they seem to be more than strong enough to hold a guitar. I have since bought another set, they look decent and overall I'm very happy with this product.

The hanger is fundamentally good. Most of these hangers will be about the same. They're all pretty solid. I can't really tell much difference between this and the String Swing except for the ONE thing that almost all of them get wrong. The one thing that manufacturers could do with all of these wall-hanging fixtures is INCLUDE DECENT DRYWALL ANCHORS. For some reason they always cheap-out on this with crappy low-quality drywall anchors even though it's the one major thing that causes problems for people. This hanger comes with the plastic helical "self tapping" type of drywall anchor with spiral blades that screw into the wall, but the plastic on these is too weak and you're likely to twist the thing in half trying to screw it in even if you use a manual screwdriver. Both drywall anchors broke when trying to screw them in and I had to replace them. This is even though they had large 1/4" holes drilled for them. I think the anchors were not even made from the proper type of plastic for this application.Something very inexpensive that ALL of these wall hangar manufacturers could do to differentiate themselves from the average competition is INCLUDE DECENT METAL DRYWALL ANCHORS. They aren't that expensive. Either get ZINC self-tapping types or MOLLY BOLTS.Otherwise we will continue to have to do the usual thing and buy our own drywall anchors for absolutely everything, and it's annoying when we run out or don't have the right size on hand and end up trying to use the crappy ones that a fixture comes with.Update: Ohuhu reached out and offered to refund my money, but I didn't think that seemed necessary because the hanger is perfectly good. My complaints about drywall anchors aren't specific to Ohuhu products, I'm just unhappy with practically every drywall anchor that everything ships with from almost every manufacturer.

I purchased a total of 4 wall mount hangars and I am very happy with the quality & sturdiness of these Ohuhus. Pretty straight forward installation even though there were no instructions in the box, but they did provide an extra packet of hardware (photo). In my case, I installed all of the hangars in drywall and needed to use the plastic anchors. My luck that the placements for the hangers I chose did not correspond with any studs (except for me ...har, har, har) TIP: Be sure to pick the right size drill bit for the plastic anchor - too small, you'll never be able to screw them in and too big, it will pull out when you try to hang a guitar on it. I used a 5/16 drill bit and although it took some elbow grease to screw in the anchors, it worked well. The heaviest guitar hanging is the PRS Custom 22 (photo), lower left side and it comes in at 3.69KG or 8.13lbs and the hangar holds it perfectly. I had been wanting to do this for years, but kept putting it off until my son hung one of his guitars and a bass in his room - my inspiration. I did think about a guitar hanging system, but for the space I was working with and the cost, this worked perfectly for me. So far they have been awesome and as long as their claim that the finish will be harmed, I will not be changing my opinion. Great product and I highly recommend them if you are thinking about hanging your guitars so you can admire & appreciate them.

This is my second pair of these. I bought a two pack a couple of years ago and loved them. This time around I’m seeing some flaws but nothing deal breaking. The color in the photo is a light maple color and that’s the color I got in my first set. This new set was darker, almost like a slightly darker stain is used on the wood now. The old pair and new pair don’t match exactly but they’re close enough not to notice from a few feet away.I used to always insist on hanging these where there was a stud in the wall but this time around I had to use the drywall anchors because I’m running out of room and had no choice. The drywall anchors were a bit touch to get flush with the wall and it makes the wood block stick out about a millimeter or two from the wall. It’s not perfectly flush but I don’t think anyone would notice. The anchors hold strong and I’m confident that my strat will be safe hung on the wall. I have a J-Bass that’s hanging on another one of these. That’s a heavy boy and the wall hanger holds it firm. The hardest part of installing these is choosing a height and making sure the wood block is straight. They hang securely and I’m confident these will hold just about any guitar or bass. They work for both acoustic and electric instruments. The rubber padding hasn’t hurt the finish on my necks so far after about three years. So far I have four of the Ohuhu brand and two cheap knockoffs that are actually more expensive being used in my home studio/office/man cave. I’ll always go for the Ohuhu brand from now on because of the quality and color and I trust them.Get these. They’re cheap and high quality. That’s a combination that’s hard to find.
