This pressure gauge works well. It is easy to use and comes with many fitting adapters. I used in on a boat motor without issue. I recommend it.

I used this pressure gauge kit to check the actual oil pressure on my one-cylinder Yanmar sailboat diesel motor. The remote sender was easy to unscrew, and the "1/8 R" adapter screwed into its place quickly. Then i attached the gauge with the quick-disconnect hose to the adapter. I started up the motor and the gauge confirmed that the oil pressure was in the recommended range. Quick and easy just like that!The gauge includes 10 adapters for popular models — my motor needed the 1/8 BSPT adapter, listed as "1/8 R" (but its the same thing). The other adapters will come in handy for other motors that i need to work on. The oil pressure gauge has metric units first with PSI listed on an inner ring. The pressure gauge connects using a quick-disconnect fitting; there is a 90-degree fitting included for adaptability in reaching difficult oil pressure ports.The pressure gauge kit comes in a sturdy blow-molded case. The slots for the various parts fit snugly and hold them in place well, with a sticker that indicates which adapter is which. The adapters themselves are also identified with a laser-etched numeral that is bold and easy to read.
