The concept of these is great, but they don't last at all. I had one band break, so I reinforced the others on the back with duct tape. I was extra careful not to over tighten them and they bounced out multiple times. Then the plastic pin head snapped off. Very disappointing.

Garbage they will not fit in a pin head or other with out modifying them which I did not buy them to do that. I couldnt use them so will be sending them back and they are expensive and completely not worth it. I would have gave them negative stars but not a option

These Scroll Saw Sander with 1/4-Inch Wide Assorted Grits Is Not Very Good IMO If You Puts Any Pressure What So Ever On These They Bust Everytime! I'll Never Order Them For Myself Again But Each To There Own I Guess!

They work out to be extremely expensive as they do work well but wear out quickly and at almost $5 each I thought they would last longer. If they made a holder you could buy and a set of strips to fit in the holder I am sure anyone with a scroll saw would want them

This is great except for the pinned ends which are thick plastic. they are tough, but difficult to install into the blade holder. And, because they are thick, a rather large entry hole is required for use in internal frets.

These are awesome for fretwork! Sadly, the pin side is HUGE so you are unable to get in the tiny areas but with the width of the band, those tiny inside curves are not going to be able to be sanded with these. Outside curves are easy enough as long as you can thread the 'pins' throughthe hole. Since they are a bit pricey, be sure to leave some give in the band and flip it over every once in awhile. I finished the fretwork on a clock and my first band is still usable. They do offer a pinless option but I have no idea how that would work.

My initial rating of this product was low, however, after additional experience, and taking "operator error" into account, I have to say that these little sanders work quite well for sanding tight spots. In order to get the best performance out of these scroll saw sanders, it is important to run your saw speed low . . . I get best results at about 500 - 700 spm. When I initially tried the sanders, I was running the saw over 1,000 spm, and, of course, they fell apart and all hell broke loose . . . . Run at the lower speeds, however, the sanding strips work very well and seem to endure through several projects, which is about right. So I am improving my recommendation of this product significantly. If you need a sanding solution for tight spots, this is a very good way to go.(previous recommendation). I bought these sanders to sand hard to reach areas in a project. Yes, they work, no they don't last long. Expect to use one sander for each job . . . .
