Don't count on hammer these into the case. You need the installation tool.

I bought 3 and couldn’t get any of them to go into my Dana 30, buy a better seal. Pro torque is what i ended up with and they are far superior.

Works as expected. A bit of a pain to install but that just means it should make a tight seal.

Went in fine, haven't tested them yet because my jeep isn't finished. Hopefully they will hold. They didn't seem real high quality but that remains to be seen

Bought two of these for my 06 TJ Dana 30 diff. I was installing a spartan "lunchbox" locker, so decided to replace the axle seals while I had the diff apart. I used a piece of pipe to punch out the old seals and cleaned out the axle tubes as much as possible. I cleaned up the area the seals seat and then started the reinstall. As some have mentioned they were a *very* snug fit. I ended up having to be a little creative to get them in. I placed the seal at the opening of the axle tube in the diff. Then I used a large socket and placed it over the seal while inserting a piece of pipe through the opposing axle tube and pressing on the socket. I basically pressed the new seals in by tapping on the pipe and driving them into place. I could have never pressed them in by hand and the angle was not right to really be able to tap them in with a rubber mallet or something like that. The seals went in and looked good, but I could understand why people would have trouble with them. I probably should have looked up a few youtube videos for tips, but luckily I got them in before I had to call for backup.
