I wasn't sure about this at first but it works GREAT! No issues. Does not break the shell and works pretty quickly.

I like to paint on eggs for Easter, but not just regular Paas type of dye job paint, real paint, with oil or watercolor painting, so I figured this would help take my egg paintings up a notch. I will admit, the first egg I tried this with, I didn't take my time and go slowly enough, so I broke the egg, but that was completely my fault. The 2nd egg I tried it on, I went much slower and took my time, learning from my mistakes of my first attempt. That worked out MUCH better! I realized the first attempt, I didn't make the hole big enough, so this time I took my time making surer the hole was big enough and kept checking the against the size of the egg blower tip. Once I was happy with the match there, I inserted the tip into the hole and stirred the tip in the egg to stir the contents of the egg. Then I started squeezing the bag slowly and voila! The egg yolk and egg whites started oozing out! Sure it was a bit messy, but there was such satisfaction in seeing the egg guts flow out and into my bowl. Once you get the hang of using this, it really is pretty simple. The key is not be in a hurry when doing it, and just be patient.

Works great, just need to be patient! Make sure the hole is big enough for the tip to fit into. Try to puncture the yoke with the tip so the insides come out more quickly and don't get stuck. Squeeze slowly so you don't crack the egg!

I cannot believe how well this tool works! The first time I tried it, I was ready to toss it because I couldn't get it to work. Before doing so, I re-read the instructions and made some modifications that really made a difference in how well this tool works. Here is what I suggest for a simple, five star experience:1. Check that all pieces of your egg blower are clean and securely attached together to minimize air leaks through seams/joints.2. Use a silicone mat, egg coddler or cloth napkin to prop up your egg securely.3. Use a tack with a thick pin to make a hole in the wide bottom of your egg.4. Wiggle the tack pin to to gently expand the pinhole in your egg.5. Insert needle of egg blower into hole and gentle stir contents of egg with needle, wiggling needle around the sides as well.6. Pull needle out of hole.7. Hold egg blower in your dominant hand with the bulb in the palm and your index finger covering the bulb hole, which should now be pointing up.8. The needle should now be pointing down/sideways.9. Pick up your egg in your other hand and hold it over a bowl, gently inserting the needle while tilting your egg slightly sideways.10. Use dominant hand to gently squeeze bulb (keeping index finger over the hole) to slowly push contents of egg out into the bowl (instead of all over the blower).11. Gradually tilt your egg fully upright to empty the remaining contents out, squeezing the bulb as described above.12. Enjoy!TO CLEAN:Use the needle to hold open the membrane while filling with warming running water and some dish soap. Partially fill your egg with this solution, and then shake vigorously to clean the inside of the shell. Use the blower to empty the soap water out, using the same method as above for emptying the egg. Repeat this a couple times until clean and empty. Let air dry on paper egg rack to drain out.
