Exactly what it is suppose to be. I used this to replace a plastic one that broke in my speaker. Great price. Feels very sturdy. Seems like it will hold up.

Great value on a solid steel piece. I have two now, and they are mounted on an acoustic guitar/vocal mice amp and a bass amp. Well built and inexpensive.

Just installed on a new PA speaker I built. 1.5" hole was a tiny bit snug, but worked OK with one small mod. Because it was so precisely fit, the welds on the inside of the base prevented the top hat from seating all the way down. I just seated it as far as I could, then used a piece of scrap wood to protect the bottom, and hit the base sharply with a hammer a couple of times. The welds dented the edge of the hole where they were interfering. Then I ran a drill bit (3/16-ish) on the edge where the dents were, knocking back the spots where the welds would be. Seated perfectly then.Other than that, fit the speaker pole well, seems like it will hold up fine. Make sure and measure your speaker pole diameter. There are at least two common sizes.
