I got this for my 10 year old to keep them busy during winter break. They found it extremely difficult to use and threw it on the ground which is completely unlike them.***I came back to add that my child told me that the reason they threw them on the ground is because the product has an awful smell.

I loved origami as a child and wanted to show my kids how to do these activies. I like that each paper is specific to its intended creation and printed in a way that it reflects that when folded properly. The directions are easy to follow.

Definitely not for beginners. The videos are not very helpful either. The paper itself is nice enough, but nothing has turned out right yet. The directions skip a lot of steps and the lines in the book don't match up to the ones on the paper. It's cute paper but I wouldn't buy again.

The instructions are clear and easy to follow. It’s cute how the paper has the printed characters on them, it’s not just basic plain paper where you have to kind of use your imagination to picture the finished product - the way regular origami is. Good for kids!I got this for our 8 and 11 year olds, and they enjoyed it. The 8 year old required a little more assistance at times as folds have to be pretty precise in origami, but all in all, did pretty well!Makes a unique gift, as I haven’t seen a kit like this anywhere else.

I used to live doing origami as a kid 30 years ago so I jumped at the opportunity to order this kit when I saw it. I originally got it around Christmas to create the Christmas themed ones to do with my 6 year old, but later realized how many different themes and characters included. It's much bigger than I expected. The printed paper is all numbered to make it easier to match up the numbers with each design. Directions are fairly easy to figure out; some are confusing to me so younger ones might struggle a bit. The biggest con about this is that the lines are off center. It results in crooked/offset designs or end results being able to see the printed lines. Overall, you do get a lot for the price so it's a good value. It's also a fun kit for a variety of ages. I'm not sure if it's appropriate for kids as young as 5 since there aren't stages of difficulty, but it's good practice following directions and fine motor skills with the folding.

This set has such nice designs and is really easy to follow. The instructions explain the steps and the designated pages have dotted lines and specifically printed colors. It will be easy for my kids to follow. My only complaint is I wish there was a box or some sort of storage option provided to keep everything together. It’s at a great price too.
