The mouthpiece is attractive and appears to be well made. I can play it but the sound is shrill. With continued practice and lip development, I hope to be able to develop a better tone. I bought it at the same time as a Bobby Shew Lead mouthpiece and I find it to be similar. The Shew is not quite as shrill.

OK replacement for my old 17C which got damaged.For those not in the know, note that this is a size 17C, not a 7C which is what most students start with.

The mouthpiece is nice and light with a narrow lip. Nice brass colour that blends perfectly with my trumpet. Nice tone and top register is good. Very good for the price
