I am currently impressed and satisfied with the product. It has excellent control functions. I purchased this to control humidity in the bathroom as I have a common issue with condensation on the window, and mold tends to grow on the edges. I recommend a good quiet fan. And I will say the instructions manual needs revising, and you will have to dig a little for information. The seller is responsive through email. Read the reviews, and look over the product listing information, as it does require basic programming for setting up the parameters. Overall great product.

Installed (which was the easy part) and I did spend about an hour trying to get it to work where I ended up having to send an email to the manufacturer since I was about ready to pull it back out since I couldn't get it to work. I was given the instruction on how to pair the remote device to the switch. PAY ATTENTION TO THE SECTION IN THE PRODUCT DESCRIPTION AREA ABOUT "How to Pair the Sensor with the Controller?" That instruction is not in the instruction document that comes with the device, so I didn't catch that. Once I got it paired, the current humidity then displayed and it worked as expected. I would have expected that the supplied remote sensor would have normally already been paired to the switch from the factory.The setup is pretty straight forward reading the instructions (which the printing on my instructions, double sided folded in half piece of paper, had the first page on the back page and the second page on the front, so that was a little confusing).The only thing I still don't understand and I will update this review if any additional understanding of this comes about, but the first step of the settings has a "Set Humidity difference" setting. The default value for this is 10% and can be set between 6%-20%. Using it for a "Dehumidification Mode", it says that the fan load will turn on when the "current humidity >= (the setting humidity +(different value)/2)".So if I have the humidity set to 40% and the humidity difference value set to 10% then the fan should turn on when the humidity is greater than (40 + (10)/2) which would be (40 + 5) so the fan turns on when it gets above 45%.Not sure why they go through this complicated equation to determine when to turn on the fan, and just not turn it on when it reaches the set humidity value you set it to. So if I want the fan to turn on at 40%, I would really have to set it to 35%. Very confusing on this.Another thing that is in the instructions but very hard to initially see, is to set that humidity value to turn on the fan at, you have to have it in the "Auto" mode first. THEN press the SET button 3 seconds which allows you to then adjust the humidity setting value. If you are in the "Off" mode, then pressing the SET button 3 seconds goes through the actual configuration settings to make changes. There's 4 steps to the configuration which the display bottom area with have values of 01, 02, 03, 04 which signify which step you are in. The top area displays the actual value that you would change with the up/down arrows (which the values are well documented in the instructions).The Mode button cycles through the "On", "Off", "Auto" modes. So any time you want to turn on the fan manually, pressing the "M" button once (from Auto) would turn on the fan. To turn it off and back to Auto, you would have to press the "M" button 2 more times to go through the Off setting and then back to Auto.The batteries in the remote sensor are said to last about 8-10 months. Not real happy to see that it will be consuming batteries, even that quickly (2-AAA). But I will update this review if I see any difference with the time frame of this.Overall I like the display on it, a little of being a nerd, I like seeing the current humidity level in the bathroom. The past switch I had by Leviton the humidity sensor went out in less than 6 months. So I'm hoping this will do much better. It says it has a two year limited warranty. I do wish it had a Light switch capability, but since we never have used the light built into our exhaust fan, I figured it was worth trying this unit out as long as it does stay working. I might even buy a second one to put into our main bathroom!

Works as advertised, will end up paying for itself with the exhaust fan turning off automatically and not running any longer than it needs, to reduce the humidity in the bathroom.

Worked for a a few months then just quit working. Screen won't even come on. Seen this issue on there other version as well.
