There are many brands of the same monitor which look identical - some includes an actual brand name on them while some don't. I picked up this one as I wanted a clean bezels look from any brand names, assuming that the internal parts are the same. When it arrived I was very excited but unfortunately got disappointed very soon:According to the item description, it has an aspect ratio of 4:3 and the supported resolutions are either 1024x768 or 800x600. However, even if you set your device to these resolutions, the actual image shown on the monitor is incorrect. And yes, even if you change the aspect ratio from 16:9 to 4:3 - the monitor internal component is just stuck at 1080p (which you can clearly tell by the floating on-screen "1080p" indication after the monitor signal refreshes when you change resolutions) and the image is forced to be stretched to that resolution no matter what.Amazon customer service were very kind and refunded me and the item was trashed away as it's really a toy but a proper monitor that can be used. I only write this review so anyone interested in this monitor will be warned and look for something else.

This is an HDMI monitor that has a 4:3 aspect ratio. I figured it would be perfect for Raspbery Pi powered retro games. Conveniently it even can run off of 12V DC! The only issue is that color appears to be limited to 6 bits per channel resulting in poor image quality. Adjusting brightness and contrast does not help.At it's price, it is a slight disappointment. It doesn't even have a headphone jack (so you can only use its terrible sounding speaker)Its benefit will be running from battery. It was the first 4:3 HDMI screen I found, hopefully the next one will be better.

I collect vintage Macs and wanted a small, unobtrusive monitor to use with them which would minimize the area needed on my desk. This little monitor is extremely good for the price with a super sharp, 1024x768 panel and plenty of input options. So far I’ve tried it with my G4 Cube and my G5, and both work great. I’d definitely recommend this to anyone. If you’re buying this to use it with a 4:3 signal, be sure to change it from 16:9 to 4:3 aspect ratio in the monitor’s settings for the best image quality. I have not tested the speaker on this yet but for my purposes I don’t need it to have much, if any, capability in that area.

Small and easy to bring indoors, the HDMI is everything to me. I can finally head to the library to play on my Xbox. If you want a TV that you can take with you this is the one. I love itIf I could rate it more then 5 stars I would.

I hated giving it only 4 stars, but for anyone wanting to use it for private viewing with headphones, the monaural-only sound may be a surprise and a disappointment. The frequency response and overall sound quality are fine through headphones, but . . . . . . mono. Adequate, but blah. There are what look like 2 small speaker grilles below the screen which suggest that the audio output is in stereo, but the sound actually comes from a single speaker on the back.Otherwise, it's a great small monitor. The controls are on the front, and the menus are easy to access and use. Operation is easy and intuitive, and the image is sharp and clear. It has HDMI, VGA, and A/V inputs, so there should rarely (if ever) be a need for adapters or converters. The headphone jack is also on the front.I only plan to use it for setting up a DVD player during live gatherings while the main A/V system is handling other program material. There's no way to predict its reliability at this point, but if necessary I will update the review.

I needed a tiny TV to fit between the handles of my eliptical bicycle, and this does. I'm also hearing impaired, but with earbuds, the sound is more than ample. Love this tiny gem! It's hooked up to a tiny blu-ray player, and I can exercise for hours while being pleasantly distracted : )
