I injured my heal right before starting a new job as a restaurant manger! I wasn’t allowed to work with the boot provided by the doctor! This was approved s as out enclosed my toes! I was able to work comfortably and was basically flying in the boot in a short amount of time! Made the healing process extremely easy and fast!!!

This is just what I needed for the long haul of wearing a walking boot. Very lightweight, great arch support, tall enough without cutting behind the knee. Most importantly, I can walk almost normal without feeling I am in a boot & not bearing weight onto my bone graft. This boot is my 3rd one after trying two other styles/brands.Let's see how the bottom sole holds up, only time will tell.

This boy was very sturdy and gave me good protection. I had a non surgical trimaleollar fracture, due to my swelling I had to remove the cast early and this was great. But after 2 months in the boot I wish there was more padding in the heel

This boot was great and then the plastic on the frontpiece just snapped. Almost impossible to walk in now as every step puts weird wiggly pressure on the upper shin.

I'm recovering from a severely broken ankle; and after 10 weeks in a wheelchair, will be allowed to walk soon in a "walking" boot. The heavy, black post-surgery Frankenstein boot is nearly impossible to walk in, so I looked for a good replacement -- something lighter, lower, with better traction. I believe the Ossur Rebound is the best bet, IF it fits. This is a big "if." I'm a women's size 8 to 8.5, which puts me in the top size range for the small boot. My son has a medium boot leftover from a bad sprain/tear, and it is huge on me, so I didn't hesitate to order the small. The small, however, is a great deal smaller than the medium. It was just long enough, but it was very narrow. The ankle area, in particular, was very tight. It pushed against the surgery sites, and rubbed when I walked. After walking around the kitchen with crutches, my ankle bones felt bruised. (It fit ok around my uninjured ankle.) There wasn't any room for inflation, or a cushioning sock. The calf area of the boot can be cut to provide more room for your calf, but it was also a tight fit. I wouldn't recommend it above about a size 6.5 (or maybe 7) unless you have a very narrow foot, ankle, and calf. I also don't recommend the size medium unless you're about a size 10 women's -- this leaves quite a size gap. I ended up returning it (15% restocking fee, and $21 return postage), and getting an Aircast. It's heavier, and doesn't have a rounded toe; but it's sized better. The medium fits ok, and I can walk in it.😊 If it fits you.😠 If it doesn't, and you have to return it.

Having to wear a "boot" for 8 weeks following ankle reconstruction, I purchased this boot for inside wear- so I wouldn't track stuff inside from out and it is SO MUCH MORE COMFORTABLE than the boot provided at the hospital (Aircast). Easy to put on/take off, adjust. A little lower profile to make walking less awkward. Plenty of padding. Surgeon approved for total ankle immobilization and support. Also less expensive. I wear ladies size 6 shoe, average leg size(5' and 115#) and the size small is perfect- would fit shoe size 5-7 as well. Wearing a boot is the pits, but this one is so much more comfortable than the aircast!

I couldn't afford some follow up procedures suggested by my doctor, but I could afford a boot, which was among his suggestions. This one came highly rated, so I tried it. Within just a minute of walking around in it, my knee began to hurt. The rounded sole apparently translates a lot of pressure on the knee. I can feel the front shin plate of the boot trying to hyperextend my lower leg. I am unable to continue using this boot because of the pain it causes me. I asked my wife to try it out and didn't mention what happened to me in order not to influence her assessment. She walked around for about 1 minute. The next day, her knee was swollen. Unless you have previously and succesfully used rounded soled footwear, I'd avoid this product. The sole is also so thick that not even my work boots can match its height. It makes walking an unbalanced affair with the booted foot awkwardly higher in elevation than the other foot. If I could give this item a negative star rating, I would.
