Very useful slicing machine for cutting fruits, cucumber, potatoes, and meat (need to be frozen a little bit to make the meat a little hard). This is also perfect for slicing meat to cook hot pots, which is much cheaper than directly buying the sliced meat from stores.

We really like this slicer!! it works great! It’s heavy duty but the motor is really quiet. We use it to prepare meat slices for hot pot and other things. It’s a great purchase because now we save a lot of money from buying pre-sliced meats. love it!

I just received my OSTBA Meat Slicer with Quiet DC Motor, 200W Electric Deli Slicer, with dual 7.5'' Stainless Steel Blades. This food slicer will cut anywhere from 0-15mm.Initial assessment, this is a nice compact size (as far as food slicers go) but I would only use for light home slicing, not professional. I would not recommend this model if you process wild game or, in the meat butcher business. For that I would go with a 12” blade, 340 watt model. This is for your smaller bulk meat like whole ham or a Prime rib where you want to make ribeye steaks. This would also be good for cheese or salami for a charcuterie board set up. I can also see one using this for smoked brisket if you cut it in half (due to size limitation of the cutting slide tray) prior to slicing. There are two different 7.5” blades. One non-serrated (for cheeses, vegetables or bread) and the other serrated (for meats.)The OSTBA food slicer has suction cup feet for stability and a safety lock switch. Combined with the food pusher, this food slicer is safer to use but one still needs to use caution when cutting. The removable parts are stainless which is dishwasher safe and makes for an easy cleanup for the removable parts. As for the fixed baseI was able to use the food slicer on some cheese and salami. The suction cup feet held the slicer in place very well when operating. The sliding try action was very smooth and overall the slicer noise was at an acceptable level. Although what I was cutting is not considered hard, I thought the blade cut through the food fairly easily. Some cheese, not a lot, did work its way behind the blade but not enough to cause any concern for clean up.For a current price of $127.49, I feel this is reasonable compared to other brands out there. For at home use, I could not find any issues with the use of the OSTBA food slicer and recommend this product to others.

This cutter is very easy to use. It cuts very thin slices of meat as long as you thaw the meat to a certain point and is very efficient. It is easy to clean and only has a few parts to clean and wipe down. It's easy to adjust the cut level, which allows me to slice different thicknesses of meat or bread. This machine has helped me realize a long-time dream. For a much lower price, processing your meat slices makes it hot pot compliant. I highly recommend this machine.

We used to own restaurants and much of our home equipment is similar to what we used at the restaurants. This stain less steel slicer may nor be commercial grade, but it is the next best thing.Included are two blades. Once straight edge for slicing meat and the other is serrated. We made a fresh loaf of bread and I was able to slice to the thickness we prefer. I did have to cut the size of the loaf down just enough to get it to fit into the food carriage.I had a few chicken breasts I grilled and sliced those into deli sized slices. Just yesterday I sliced a fresh roast into very thin slices for grilling and making steak and cheese sandwiches!Where we have a food vacuum sealer, I can slice plenty ahead of time and freeze fresh for later. The only con is when you get down to the last few slices, the very end of the meat will not slice and leaves you with a small chunk of meat. Commercial slicers will do the same, just not quite as much. The blade adjustment provides a wide variety of thicknesses. The blade is easy to remove and, along with the other removeable parts, place in the dishwasher. We kept the carton that fits the second blade perfectly for safe storage.

My husband and I have been wanting to slice our own lunch meat, along with thinly sliced meat for French dips, Phillies, etc. Bonus points for slicing our own cheese now. I used to work at a sub shop many moons ago and morning prep was my job so I would utilize the slicer. Their slicer is much heavier duty of course, but in comparison, this at home slicer works pretty well. It is much smaller which is to be expected and for obvious reasons as well. The plain blade is not the sharpest blade, it should be able to cut meet as well but It wasn't cutting our roast very well when we tried it so we switched to the serrated blade which I know it made for meat, but like I mentioned, a non serrated blade should be able to cut meat on a slicer as well if its sharp. I never used serrated blades at my old job and I sliced meat daily. So that was kind of disappointing, but the serrated blade got the job done pretty well, but it too felt slightly dull. The machine was pretty easy to clean, though there was one area my husband said was difficult to get to which made it frustrating. But overall this is a pretty decent at home slicer that will do what we are wanting it for, at a reasonable price.

Cuts well and compact. Just be careful of the tray as it seems the one i have have sharp edges. Other than that, I love it.
