I had ACDF surgery a year ago and can't throw a traditional net or anything bigger than 4 ft. I saw the easy cast on a video and had to try it. WOW so easy and stress free. It can be thrown with one hand. Perfect for grabbing some fresh bait. Definitely recommend and it even came a day early!!!

The actual netting is extremely thin and easily breaks. If you get a bait fish gill netted good luck getting it out without the net breaking. After only a dozen or so throws most of the netting Has broken away from the lead line. I've had to re-tie all the weights with fishing line. Also, this net gets tangled bad on every cast. And you can't just shake it out like you see on YouTube vids to untangle it. You have to spread it out on the ground and sometimes its so bad it takes 10-15 mins to untangle. Forget about fast reloads. The weights are steel and rust quickly. The swivel is small and has also rusted. The weights don't sink very fast because they are light and the ring sinks even slower. The brail lines are tied poorly and unevenly leaving a 1/2" tail at the knot which really aids in tangles but don't cut off the extra material, it'll come untied. Its difficult to throw because the weights are too light and they don't sink fast enough to trap fish. Kinda of a waste of $ IMO.

I have thrown hundreds of cast nets in my life. Haven’t thrown this one yet but it looks and feels like a flimsy, thin piece of garbage right out of the package. It will probably work in a pinch, but if you have time I’d recommend going to a real store and buying a real net. I don’t expect this one to last more than a day. If it does I’ll update my review.

The casting net is light weight and comes in a zipper bag for easy storage. The net is easy to throw and retrieve but does rip easy if it gets caught on oyster beds or rocks.

This is my first easy throw cast net, and to be honest I am pretty sad throwing a standard cast net . I did about 5 practice throws in my yard its amazing at catching leaves and sticks so decided to go the Ohio river. Very pleased, caught 7 good size shad in 2 throws had all the bait I needed. My take away.Let the net do the work the harder you try the less the net works. Follow the direction on how to and get a smooth toss. After a few throws your ( My arm ) will still get a work out.Doubt I will go back to a standard cast net only time 2 hands are needed is one loop pre throw and on retrieve.
