These will be a great way to add flame and water effects to my Halloween displays.Upon receiving them, I wanted to test them out. The remotes would not work at all to control the light. I took out the battery and it was a CR2032 although everything noted CR2025. Once I put the correct batteries in, they worked just fine.

I already have some of these lights and purchased more. I use them for a front yard that I over-the-top decorate each year for Halloween. The wavy, shimmering lights look especially creepy -- especially when set to purple and blue -- and actually green as well. The blue shimmering lights pointed at our"graveyard" make it look like there is some sort of ghoulish fog or mist.

Purchased this last year in 2023, got it out this year and it doesn’t work. Looks like the wires are corroded a bit. Very disappointed!

I asked a few questions about if this light will recall the last settings on here and got 50% right and wrong answers from people replying. I took a risk and bought it and happy it does. It remembers not only the same color, but the same speed of rotation. Great customers service as well.

This is fantastic! It works great, doing all it promises. Its easy to use, and even has a remote control. I have it in our garage music studio right now. But, in December we aimed it at the Christmas tree. What a fun extra effect for the holidays. Sometimes we move it outside and put it under our awning. The further it is moved from the walls, the bigger the area it lights up. Its fun to keep changing colors and speed of the display. I may buy another for my healing room.

Using it for a pirate halloween display to cast a water effect on some pirates. Looks great. Speed control is really nice. Very versatile. Motor is a little noisy but not a big deal. Haven't run it long so can't speak to longevity in weather. we'll see.update Oct 2022: have i only used it 2 seasons (3-4 months each season). just pulled it out of storage which is in a tub with all my other outdoor lighting and discovered it’s not working anymore. I design and repair electronics for a living so i opened it in hopes of repairing but the LED chip itself corroded to the point of swelling/cracking the housing. pretty disappointing. I’m in the southeast and only have it out in fall/winter so not even any extreme heat and we have mild winters. it’s out of warranty but will email the maker and see what they say.UPDATE late Oct ‘22 - I emailed KOOT about sending me wan LED to repair mine since it was out of warranty and i hate trashing mostly functional tech. They sent me a new light that arrived in about a week. that was very generous of them. email responses were less than 1 day.I opened the new one and it is built the same as the previous, no obvious improvements. I found a green only LED for cheap to fix the old one and i sprayed the circuit board with clear coat spray paint to help protect it longer. I may do so with the new one but at this point i’ve invested more time than i probably should. haha.Overall the best water effect out of the ones i’ve seen and competitor products seem to be mostly the same build.

I bought this for indoor use. It has the exact water reflection effect I was looking for, and it has options for colors and speed which I didn't realize how much I would like. I thought I just wanted blue, but the color options make it more fun, and there are a couple of color options where the colors are mixed. There is also a speed adjustment, so there is a range of slow to fast. Using it indoor means I did not use the ground stake that it comes with for attachment. Instead I screwed it to a block of wood for stability. That was easy to do as there is a hole and a screw already provided. I did have trouble with the remote in the beginning, but I finally realized you have to find the sweet spot and the remote works just fine.
